Whoever say he might still be sick! He was never sick..no symptoms I wonder if the test are coming out of the greater Los Angeles area What a sham I've been thinking this the entire time. In fact I've been wondering if he's been getting tested independently for corroboration. It just seems like it's SO damn convenient for this to pop up right now.

I disagree, you of course want your star point guard who changed the fortunes of your team in there, no matter what the other team is dealing with. They could always sit him if we had a big lead, and all the guys are fresh from the time off after the last series. My understanding is he was vaccinated and hasn’t been symptomatic. Just positive tests, and the tests are sensitive. It’s an NBA image and liability thing, not a legit health issue, and it may cost us a Championship. What a shame that would be. I'm not talking about sitting him the entire series. But game 2 makes sense given: 1. Playing at home 2. He's likely still a bit sick 3. Every game off is really 2 days with off days, so that's more covid/shoulder recovery 4. Kawhi is out entire series, unless Clips are dumb enough to risk long term injury like Lakers did. While Booker played well, Clips also shot lights out. I think it will be harder for Clips to repeat that performance on our home court, with Morris out, so IMO, it's worth the risk. We aren't winning a title without CP3, and we have a better shot at beating Bucks if he's 100% and not rushed back. If we can't beat Clips with BOTH Kawhi and Morris out, we don't deserve a shot at title. And this is coming from a long time Suns fan who remembers the pre-Barkley, Tom Chambers days Quarter four about to start. A tight game all the way. Booker in the locker room getting stitched up. Chris Paul would have been nice today, yes?

SUNS WIN. Even though officials gave the Clippers more than one chance to take it in the final half minute.

Now that was a playoff game! Close the whole way, I don’t think a team ever led by double digits. A bloodied and broken nose and stitches a la Steve Nash vs the Spurs. More blood on the Clippers side. Replays and reviews and close calls and questionable calls. Missed critical free throws at the end leading to being down 1 point with .8 seconds left, and then…PLAYOFF MAGIC!
Enjoy it fellow Cards/Suns fans.
We need CP3 back!

We do need CP3 back but Cameron Payne sure looked good. It's nice to know we may be in good hands if CP3 doesn't resign in off-season. As much as I like CP3 I don't want to pay a PG a 45 mil / per year contract that extends through his 40s. Ayton is playing himself into a bigger contract, along with others. I just don't see a way we can keep everyone together unless CP3 would take a pay cut.

Anybody can win a blowout game in the Regular season. But future Champions win 1-point games in the Playoffs. I've seen Champs emerge many times and last night's game was clear exmple of a 'new bad boy on the block.'
To lose a playoff game by 1 point is demoralizing. And the Clippers were hurt bad last night. The ESPN outtakes of the game were interesting to watch. The Suns got much stronger with this close-fought win.

Wow, last night showed even when the Suns dont play their best, they still find a way to pull it out. But they need to understand, the Clippers are well into this. Last 2 series they went down 0-2 and came back and won the series. It aint over by a long shot.

Last 2 series they went down 0-2 and came back and won the series. It aint over by a long shot. Suns need to figure out how to take game 3 in LA. Clippers are a very good team as Suns played sloppy and still one. Although Clippers played sloppy as well. I know everyone praising Monty on a great out of bounds play, but the true test comes in game 3 and how Monty now adjusts to the Clippers. This is where he makes his money. Clippers adjusted and was able to shut down Booker, now Monty needs to find a way to counter Clippers strategy against Booker. It will be easier with CP3 back. Clippers have made their choice, they dont care much about Ayton going off, they feel Booker can do far more damage to them then Ayton. But if Monty can counter and get Booker back on track, this is going to be very good for the Suns. The one difference between the 2 series the Clippers came back from 0-2 and won is, they didnt play against a complete team like the Suns. They have star players in Booker and CP3, but they also have very good role players like Ayton (Who is now moving to a star player), Crowder, Payne etc. You saw Payne go off last night offensively to help pick up the slack. As I said, this Suns team finds a way, they have surprised me without CP3.
