The team gives you every reason not to watch them. But we now have a stud franchise QB . I have no doubt. This kid is the best of the new QB's I've seen in this league. He's a diamond surrounded by cubic zirconia and run by Village Idiots. He will survive this , he's that strong.
The unimaginative play calling on the final drive is all Steve Wilks. He said so himself in the pressor. There's a reason they wear head sets and Singletary 2.0 is the one you can pin that on. This guy has to go at the end of the year. It's like saying Brandon Williams just needs more time to become legit. It will never happen.
DJ is DJ when you add in the threat of a pass game. He looked more himself this game. But it still begs the question. Did we really need to give him all that money? could he not have proved himself once again. He has a 3.3 yards per carry average.
Coming into the season our WR group was a concern. We sure nailed that one. Rosen's stats would have been off the charts if his WR could have caught easy balls. Kirk once and JJ Nelson on the long bomb. WOW.
Have you ever seen Fitz drop two in a game? It begs the question looking at his overall drop in production, is Larry slipping a little?
Dbuc got slashed again and again in the run game. He is plain and simply awful. Anyone notice Reddick out there? Not so much.
For the first time in years I can say our Oline is okay. It's ranked very poorly by PFF but by the eyeball test it seems better at least to me.
Our run defense is awful. And it's been good the past couple of years. It has to be scheme more then anything.
Earl Thomas broke his leg and then gave the SEATTLE sideline the finger going by on the cart. What a classless douche. All because he's been crying about extensions and money all year. (he makes 8.5 per year). Now fittingly he's going to lose a lot of money.
Is anyone impressed with Chase Edmonds. 41 carry yards on the year with a 3.1 ave. Was he really a need to the point we had to draft him with all the holes we have? Running backs to compliment DJ can be had easily.
I didn't see Jamar Nelson in the game and that made me happy.
Seattle is almost as bad as we are. And they always seem to have turmoil. That ship is sinking badly.
I want to give my weekly props to the best player on this team: Patrick Peterson. Consistent. Never hurt. Plays at a world class level and we're wasting his final years.
For fans thinking victories matter at this point we got San Fran twice in the next five weeks.

Wilks should be fired at the end of the season.

Aris these Monday Morning QB posts have been great...keep it up.
I’m going to judge coaching at the end of the year but so far not impressed.
We need run D pieces even if the scheme/coaching are partly to blame.
Thrilled with Rosen. This surpasses all the negatives to date this season for me. Now we move forward building the offense around him and fixing the D.
We could really use a legit stud TE. Seals-Jones had a great catch on a great throw but isn’t a stud. Gresham is paid like a stud but....ugh.
Much better performance this week. Long way to go. What did you think of Nkemdiche and C Williams this game? I saw hope for both, which is good.

Very good point on the TE. We're long overdue a good one here. Wouldn't it be great to have a Jason Whitten here for 10 years with Rosen? Problem is teams realize that and lock their guys in. Tyler Eifert and Jared Cook are the two top guys in FA from that position but Eifert is always hurt and cook is 32. I would say Robert is making progress for the first time in his tenure here. Is he the great penetrating D lineman he was advertised? No but he's average right now which says a lot for him. And C Williams had ZERO chance to display his talent with Bradford. I'm hopeful the kid will get some confidence from that game and blossom for us. That would be a very pleasant surprise.

Sad to watch a rookie QB in his first start in the bigs getting immediately screwed by the two highest paid guys on the team.
Great to watch a rookie QB in his first start in the bigs bouncing back from the two highest paid guys screwing up.
JJ Nelson continuing to occupy a precious roster spot this morning is an insult to any self-respecting Cardinal fan.
When do kicker auditions start this week?

I'm sure their's another wr out there that can catch the ball. And McCrane could've made a fg.

Rosen has shown he loves using the TE and we need to get him a top notch one. Seals-Jones is frustrating as you see the talent, but I swear he has a drop every game.
I have said from day one that we will like Chad Williams. I have stuck with it although he has not shown me to be thinking rationally with my hope for him. Unlike others who would proclaim themselves proven right after that game I will not. He has some work to do, but at least people are seeing a glimpse of the potential I think he has. His “non” catch was so sick. He went up to get it and came down with it. We have not had a guy do that since Fitz. And what a throw that was.
I love Kirk, the kid is a big play just waiting to happen. They went away from him a bit in the second half and that was frustrating. We will see his drop is going to be an anomaly and not the norm. If our defense can force punts (we actually did yesterday) this kid will return one for a TD this year.
The cowardly play calling hurts my soul. Has Wilks not watched our D this year? Has he not watched Russell Wilson before? You want a 3 point lead and leaving Wilson 1;50. Really??? I said as we ran the first two times that I cant believe they have faith in Dawson, (whom I have ZERO faith in). I dont trust any kicker in that, go for the win.
#90 contributing is nice. Not what we had hoped, but much better than we have seen.
People are ripping Buc and maybe I missed some stuff on his end, but I know he was our D MVP the first quarter, he was all over the place, even special teams. To argue my own point, I didn’t notice much of him later.
Golden is not ready to be back. And I still think this defense is not the type Jones and Golden thrive in.
Bene isn’t perfect, but dude is a gamer. I love his toughness.

I wonder what organization would watch a kicker miss important kick after important kick and bring him back the following season? Well......we did bring back that punter who had a 30 yard average in BA's era.

David Johnson is one of the few players scoring touchdowns. We probably do too many obvious runs and run blocking could be better but outside of that he's been doing fine especially when we aren't being blown out.

Wilks should be fired at the end of the season. Wilks just might earn that. If McCoy is still here at the end of the season Wilks must be let go as the lapse of judgment is critical. If we didn’t have to live through the Amos debacle I could be more understanding but my patience evaporated over that season.

Nkemdiche is playing better. Hes still not lived up to his 1st round status, but at least hes showing us something. I give credit where due, Im happy for him. Ive never disliked him. Its not his fault he was drafted round 1. Hed be a great 4th round pick, where he belonged.
Hope to see more growth there.
I dont know whats wrong with Peters. That guy has always been so solid. Hes been a ghost and the entire DL has been abused in the run game. I thought having 4 DLs would make the run D stauncher, not worse.

Nkimdeeecheee has really turned things around I'm happy for the dude as well. I thought for sure at this point he wasn't gonna show us anything.. solidifying his membership to the Bust club. I'll take a moderately disruptive nkemdiche any game day.
