Lots of us wanting all this leadership sent packing. Although Bidwill will probably not going to do anything, WHAT IF he did? Who should be hired to fix this?
With Rosen and DJ, I assume an offensive mind is what's needed with a strong, proven DC-ala the Rams.
But who?

I don't know, I have a full time job. I will say it is a process, it should be trusted, and I trust it.

I'd say Nick Saban, but he would never leave Bama to come to this group. Leave a year after year power house to come to the Cards. Man isn't that dumb. Besides he makes boo koo dough at Bama.

John DeFilippo should be the only answer.
As far as DC, I would hire Jimmy Lake out of Washington.
NFL experience be damned if it’s bad experience.

I know it’s unrealistic and could quite possibly be a disaster, but my dream OC or head coach for the Cards:
Kurt Warner
Obviously he already has a cushy job that only requires a fraction of his time, so why would he even consider it? But just based on the things he’s said about how he was the one really calling the plays when he was on the field, I’d love to see how he would do. That offense was so fun to watch when it was clicking, and you know the players would respect the hell out of him and play hard for him, he’s totally got the personality for it

Next season we will actually be somewhat of a coveted spot if we dont ruin Rosen.
First pick overall. Young stud QB. Tons of cap space. A new bright GM.

Flip would be my choice IF he was even interested. I expect him to do very well with the Vikes and be unlikely to come to AZ with it's history. He picked Minn as a place to go because it was a stable, well run organization. Unfortunately we can't say that about our team situation and history. I doubt even huge money would do it. Someone else with the same drive and ability (if there is someone) would be preferable to me, rather than another young defensive coach like Wilks.
IMO we missed a big chance by not aggressively pursuing De Filippo early on and sticking with it. A very good sales job might have done it, but even that would have been lucky as he is pretty smart and might have seen SK for what some of us think he is.
As it is, the field of candidates would/will be very limited, IMO, but NOW is the time to start the search, not later. Try to find that gem just waiting for a chance.

I said coach Flip last season, I'd rather be a year early on a guy than a year late. I still don't think it is too late, we are an attractive prospect if Rosen plays like that through the season and we have a high draft pick. The other guy is Lincoln Riley, the guy is one of the most creative play callers in the country.

When BA was hired, I wrote that he would have to convince me his hire want another preretirement stop. He convinced me. Our current coaching staff has also convinced me. Everyone of them from GM down, needs to go. Wilks is not HC material. Peter Principle on display.

Gotta at least ask the question. Like I say, if Rosen looks legit the rest of the season you have a potential franchise QB, a high draft pick, the skeleton of a good roster and a ton in cap space. It is a attractive position all of a sudden.

Jim Bob Cooter Haley or Deflippo and it would be a toss up all three. My Ranking 1. DeFlippo 2. Cooter 3. Haley
Haley third only because he in the past has not been an easy guy to get along with. I would be fine with any of them.

Just from watching the HBO special Haley could command a locker room and makes a guy like Hue Jackson look like the joke he is.
Flip in Minnesota would see Arizona differently now. We have that bright young QB he could work with. Tons of cap space and probably the top pick in the draft. This is what guys like this look for.
Or BB gets driven out of NE. perfect spot for him to ride out his final years.

I would hire for GM the wizkid from Green Bay. Ron Wolf's son, he was general manager of the Packers. He works for the Browns now Eliot Wolf. I bet he can turn the team around. He will probably be the next theo epstein for the nfl. He is only 36 years old.
