I said coach Flip last season, I'd rather be a year early on a guy than a year late. I still don't think it is too late, we are an attractive prospect if Rosen plays like that through the season and we have a high draft pick. The other guy is Lincoln Riley, the guy is one of the most creative play callers in the country.
I don't know much at all about Riley. Can he design plays to suit his players, and to pick apart weekly opponents weak spots, or does he pick from plays made up by others? Flip is very good at both and has proved it. (not saying he is he only one who can do that)

Riley was Mayfield's OC and then Senior year HC at Oklahoma. He's as innovative as McVay when it comes to matching play design and talent. And he has slaughtered the competition in Oklahoma's conference. Look at where OK is right now in the current College standings. In last years game against Georgia in the College playoffs it was Oklahoma's young D that lost the game, not the O and Mayfield. Now that D has a year of experience. In the AP Poll Okla is #7, but in the Coaches Poll they are ranked #5. And all the top 7 teams in Both Polls are 5-0 right now. Oklahoma will be in the College Playoffs again.

I know it’s unrealistic and could quite possibly be a disaster, but my dream OC or head coach for the Cards: Kurt Warner Obviously he already has a cushy job that only requires a fraction of his time, so why would he even consider it? But just based on the things he’s said about how he was the one really calling the plays when he was on the field, I’d love to see how he would do. That offense was so fun to watch when it was clicking, and you know the players would respect the hell out of him and play hard for him, he’s totally got the personality for it Kurt Warner would never do it, and not just for the reasons you mentioned. He knows the success rate for HC's in the NFL is quite low. Very few coaches stick around for more than 5 years... and the ones who do, don't guarantee any super bowl victory either (See Fisher, Reid, Lovie). Kurt has little to gain but everything to lose if he pursued being a HC. Sure, there's a possibility he takes the Cards to a Super Bowl and wins it, but how much more praise can we give the man as it is? He's already immortalized in the Ring of Honor and the HoF. What more could he gain? Very little Then on the other hand, he could take the Cards nowhere. The fans would question his decisions. Roster cuts, clock management, play calling, every word he speaks to the public. Everything he built up for this team could be destroyed because for whatever reason, he fails to bring the team back to the promised land. Imagine what it would be like for Cardinal fans to put Kurt through the same thing were doing to Wilks right now. It would cause a fan civil war and make it toxic to like the Cardinals ever again. No. I hope Kurt never becomes our HC. QB coach maybe, but never the head coach or offensive coordinator for that matter.

Scott McCloughan for GM and either Lincoln Riley, John DeFillipo, or Todd Bowles for HC.
