Its not Dawson's fault for committing the sin. Its the Cardinals organization fault for keeping the sinner after last year. Dawson cost the Cardinals THREE games last year. He should of been the first one to be cut. But alas, history always repeats.

What’s even the point? Might as well let him play it out, it’s a lost season anyway, and McCrane is kicking for the Raiders already. I’ll always root for a win, but a top 3 pick and a new coaching staff is probably what this team needs

Its true, the sin is on the coaches for not cutting PD in favor of the rookie. I'm just saying you might as well cut him now and correct that mistake.... not that it will make a difference for this season.

Seriously? He's worse than Dawson I'm honestly not even mad at Dawson if you've been paying attention long enough you know once they didn't convert on 3rd they weren't making the FG. That's just how this works |

Is this a new thread or a reboot from the preseason?
All that's left to do now is have McCrane boot a 58 yarder at the gun to beat the Cardinals when the two teams meet later in the year. Especially if Grandpa misses a couple of 40-somethings.

Dawson is the opposite of clutch. He has literally cost us 4 games in the last 2 years. Last year he single handedly kept us out of the playoffs.
You look at other teams that are willing to cut their shitty kickers after 1 bad game. Kickers are a dime a dozen. It would not be hard to find someone else. Simple math would tell you they would be as good or better than Dawson.

Another screw up by the brains of this organization. Should have cut Dawson at the end of camp and kept MCCrane. Younger stronger leg and has a future. Where this is probably Dawsons last season. It's not like this team was going any where this year. Should have given the kid a year like Rosen to get better. Dawson isn't going to be around by the time this team is ready to contend again.

Seriously though, what did coaches see in preseason that made them go with Dawson? Wasn't McCrane perfect? including a couple 50+ yarders???
