We got Wilks much the same way we got Arians. After everyone passed us over. We still are not that attractive of a destination. Our big chance was Andy Reid when Whiz was fired. He was scheduled to fly out to Arizona to meet about the Cards job. Instead K.C. flew into Philly and swooped him up. that's how great organizations do it. On a side note the same Andy Reid also swooped in and stole Mahomes from under us. Yes we could theoretically have both. Landing Reid would have been sweet. Too bad Arians could not reload and enjoy a nice 10 year run. He was great at coaching up talent, but loved his vets a bit too much.

If Keim leaves, they all leave...start over. That’s why when I originally set up the poll and questions, I made it possible to choose just 1 person or 2-3 and all 4. I voted for Keim. (Which I believe is already in default)

If there were a BIG NAME COACH who would want to run this franchise, I could see Bidwill cleaning house in 14 weeks and one day (Black Monday, January 2019).
However, unless a Bill Cowher or Mike Tomlin or Nick Saban want to come in and coach this team, I fear we have until 2020 with this entire staff. For some reason, coaches don't want this job--maybe Rosen will change their minds.

Football may have done past him by like I feel it has for Gruden, but I would love to see Bill Cowher here as our coach. I always admire his intensity and fire on the sidelines. He would be the type of coach I would want to play for.

Fire mccoy and lets have leftwich and Rosen have growing pains together this year. Arians and Palmer have said Byron is a budding star. I’d love to see him get a chance as early as next week to start implementing his ideas.

For the sake of Rosen you don't want to many changes right now.

Cap space is a myth next year. From everything I know we're smack dab in the middle of the pack with only 31 players on contract.

So is it your belief that during the interview process MB and SK never once asked Wilks who he would consider for his staff? They had to be on board with his choices or they may not have hired him at all. I think we waited too long to hire a HC and our options were obviously limited at that point in time and we went shopping in the bargain bin for our entire staff. Both Keim and Bidwill were ok with the choices...obviously. Did I say any such thing Boomer or are you just being contrary? Of course they quizzed him about his staff as is their right and obligation. But to think and then Say that MB and SK Told Wilks to hire McCoy as Biggs conjectured is absurd! smh What bs! I'm not being contrary, just argumentative. You did intimate that McCoy's hiring was solely on Wilks which can not be true. "Wilks selected his Staff Not SK or MB" which means even if he wanted them, MB and SK would have to be ok with those choices and work out the contracts. Do you think if Wilks had wanted to hire one of the Ryan brothers to run the defense that MB or SK would have sat still for that decision? I'm going to say no. They were obviously ok with his choices and that's how we got to were we are today. You can't sit back from the feeding frenzy like we had last year with all the coaching changes, you're just going to get the scraps. Can you imagine if we got Reid AND landed Rosen?

I totally disagree with your statement and conclusions. Wilks selected his Staff Not SK or MB. Wilks Owns what his staff is. SK is Not tied to Wilks at all Keim is not responsible for Wilk's performance because he didn't hire Wilk's staff? Unbelievable!

Keim is on the hot seat. He hired a poor coaching staff Wilks and McCoy. He failed to address the #2 cornerback position. There is still a lack of talent at OL, WR, TE, CB and S. This is the worst the offense has been in 30 years. It's not just a reflection of the record but how we are losing. We are the worst team in the NFL right now. Keim is absolutely on the hot seat. It would not surprise me at all to see both him and the coaching staff replaced in the offseason.

For that to happen, Mike Bidwill will have to demonstrate a compulsive knee-jerk tightwad behavior that we have not seen since on this team since elder Dollar Bill ran the team. Mike is unlike his dad in almost every way. Mike McCoy is the coach responsible for abysmal offensive production so far. He's got only a few more games to figure it out or he will be "OC, DONE and GONE again" (redux Denver '17).

knee jerk? knee jerk is hitting the brakes, something you do before a crash not after. its too late for any knee jerking. I predicted the season of dink and dunk and the result. if I am smarter than anyone in the cards office espically with what some of you think of my intelligence they have real problems. wilks and McCoy should be invited to share a taxi home tomorrow after being fired. yeah we would have to go into the next game with no coach...but haven't we really done that the past 3 games anyway?

I think the only one in any danger during the season would be OC at the end of the season MB might want to give wilks the benefit of the doubt for year two unless this fiasco continues until season's end then I don't think anyone is secure. The D has to improve as well as the offense I think for Wilks maybe even SK to be safe next year. Right now the scheme offensively is just horrible and what's worse not using your best two weapons on offense there is just no excuse.

Keim can fix his mistake by hiring DeFilippo as HC(who should’ve been our HC in the 1st place) after firing Wilks.
That is, if Keim isn’t fired by then.
