I really think SK is feeling “big time” heat.. If Rosen stinks the place up, or is injured.. it may come to a boil..
If MB thinks it’s time to move on, it would be the perfect time to do it.. Young QB, lots of CAP next season. There would be quality people interested.. if there is some kind of language in his contract re: his DUI which would make it possible to get him out “cheaply”
I think it will happen if Rosen fails!!

I think you're wrong. The HC and staff is feeling more heat than SK atm.
And Rosen will have struggles, that is expected. How many and how big is yet to be determined. MB is not going to pressure SK over Rosen's performance or development. SK did his job of getting Rosen here
Now on the other hand the HC and OC Will fill heat from MB if Rosen is lost out there. Which I seriously doubt will happen. Rosen knows how to prepare. But Play selection is not in his hands, it is the responsibility of McCoy 1st and Wilks overall.
Your thread premise was asked of Urban in today's You Got Mail segment on the main board. And Urban again lined out who's duties are whose and where they lay upon whose shoulders.

I think SK and Wilks are tied at the hip. SK contract was extended to run concurrently with Wilks. I can't possible see Bidwill having SK fire Wilks to hire the next HC. I also think it's naive to think SK didn't have a lot to say in the hiring of McCoy.

I totally disagree with your statement and conclusions. Wilks selected his Staff Not SK or MB. Wilks Owns what his staff is. SK is Not tied to Wilks at all.

So is it your belief that during the interview process MB and SK never once asked Wilks who he would consider for his staff? They had to be on board with his choices or they may not have hired him at all. I think we waited too long to hire a HC and our options were obviously limited at that point in time and we went shopping in the bargain bin for our entire staff. Both Keim and Bidwill were ok with the choices...obviously.

Of course they quizzed him about his staff as is their right and obligation. But to think and then Say that MB and SK Told Wilks to hire McCoy as Biggs conjectured is absurd! smh What bs!

Interesting conversation. I lean more towards Boomers thought.

SK wanted to hire McCoy after interviewing him for the job in 2013. McCoy chose the Chargers and SK ended up lucking into Arians. McCoy has SK's finger prints all over it.

I expect to see a firing notice on Mike McCoy any minute. Wow, talk about the offense pancaking in 2018! Certainly McCoy's gone if the Cards fall to 0-5. If offensive production spikes on Sunday, then McCoy lives another week. Right now, he's dead man walking the Green Mile.

We got Wilks much the same way we got Arians. After everyone passed us over. We still are not that attractive of a destination.
Our big chance was Andy Reid when Whiz was fired. He was scheduled to fly out to Arizona to meet about the Cards job. Instead K.C. flew into Philly and swooped him up. that's how great organizations do it. On a side note the same Andy Reid also swooped in and stole Mahomes from under us.
Yes we could theoretically have both.

I think MB does have character and will not put it just on SK because I think he was involved in the coaching search as well. He will admit he was wrong as well but still think it's best to move on from the whole staff but something tells me at the end of season if things are as pathetic and there is no improvement I could see the whole coaching staff being let go maybe even SK being let go.

When I first talked up Mahomes it was a pretty common thing for posters to respond, he is just a spread guy and product of mike leaches system because the coach that took over Texas Tech ran the same offense as leach. That guy has proven a lot of people wrong so far. I remember West VA preferred watson he isn't bad but not playing like he did before the injury hopefully he will get it turned around.
