Good for both teams in several ways.
1. We don't need him. Be honest, season is not about winning at this point.
2. Rosen needs the experience the rest of season.
3. Free up that salary cap space
4. Question is are Niners that desperate? Give them a call and find out.

1)You think the Niners want him after he has performed?
2) you think Niners have the cap space to pay him?

Oh my how I would love to see SF be that . I doubt they are, but they might have the offensive staff firepower to make Bradford serviceable and if Bradford were to roll into the Farm and dominate the Cardinals D I may never be able to set foot in the place again as I will know it (or I) is/am cursed. At this point it's probably best to let Bradford count his $20 million in peace and erase this from our memory banks.
As for salary, can we help them pay? Maybe split the difference?

The salary issue is definitely a negotiation.. if the 9ers would take him for the balance of the contract that would be great..he has already gotten his bonus and 3 game checks.. that is probably 1/2 of this years obligation.. he probably has a no trade deal in it though..

Thinking John Lynch is dumb enough to do that trade is a waste of brain use.

the niners would be to take sam, but i'd still call. if san cant be traded-CUT HIM-what possible value does he have now-none and cutting sam would give sk some credibility back.

His deal isn't guaranteed for next year, so the contract won't affect us after this season anyway. Not as if we'd be escaping a multiyear deal. Only thing it would do is save the Bidwill's some money this year and I could care less about that.

The niners would sign Kaepernick before they sign Bradford. That’s how unlikely this trade scenario is.

The 49er's aren't going anywhere this season either, teams that start 0-3 have a 2% chance of making the playoffs. If they can get him on the cheap, they might sign SB. He can play, it's just so predictable he'll crap the bed at some point in the game. Yesterday looked like it was going to be a much better game than it turned out to be.
That seems to be the story of his career, terribly erratic and inconsistent, as we saw yesterday unless those around him are all good to great players bad things start to happen. He is a backup (barely) but can step in if needed.

It's time to take the uniform off of Sam . Glennon needs to be the backup.
Sam can hang around all week giving Rosen pointers about being a pro. But we cant have that stink on the field ever again.

nobody is going to trade for Bradford. we are already on the hook so they can wait till he's cut and have his salary still paid by the cardinals, they get him for free. we are in the same situation as when the colts had to cut peyton. bad contracts force that on teams. it becomes much cheaper to just grab them after being cut that to trade for them and you don't have to give up anything to get them. think cars. what if a salesman asked you to trade in your car for his and give him a few thousand dollars and take over his payments when you knew his car was about to be repoed and at the auction next week for $100 and he still had to make the payments. do you wait a week to basically get a free car or take over high interest payments that will cost you twice what the car is worth. same for nfl teams. they all know sams contract and that the cards will be forced to pay their player if they just wait a bit.

Bradford is making $20 MM this year. Who would take him on at that rate? His agent is doing pretty well, he can say look at what I got Bradford paid, what do you think I could get for you?
