Ending up with Sam Bradford on your team and no team to trade him to is like losing a game of Musical Chairs.
You're stuck.

Good for both teams in several ways. 1. We don't need him. Be honest, season is not about winning at this point. 2. Rosen needs the experience the rest of season. 3. Free up that salary cap space 4. Question is are Niners that desperate? Give them a call and find out. Salary cap space for what? It's the middle of the season. What free agents can we go sign now? His deal isn't guaranteed for next year, so the contract won't affect us after this season anyway. Not as if we'd be escaping a multiyear deal. Only thing it would do is save the Bidwill's some money this year and I could care less about that. How about 5 mill salary cap that can be used this year to resign a player instead of waiting until next year. Possibly Marcus Golden. Would be better to put it on this years cap instead of next years. We can find a way to use it to our advantage I’m sure. No point in using it for Bradford since he is not in our future.

you have to wonder about some people. wilks threw Bradford under the bus as if he were to blame. he is going to do the same to rosen. we are back to the days when linehart would start a few games then warner would start a few, then back to linehart for a few. and Glennon probably even gets a start at some point. wilks is going to blame everyone except the real problem, himself. how can some not see what's coming? the past repeats people, the past repeats. learn from it or suffer the consequences. when life writes something on a 2X4 and slaps you right between they eyes with it there should be a way to see it comming, especially when its not the 1st time. duck, get outta the way. don't get hurt by the same thing a 2nd time. did rosen do any better than Bradford? there is a reason. because he was having the same plays called. rosen will suck as much as Bradford because its not them, its wilks.

the smartest thing cards could do is use next year's top pick on the best qb in the draft. They may be waiting a long time to get another chance to make sure they have a true franchise qb.

They already traded up to draft him. They have to develop him but I wouldnt mind drafting a QB in the 3rd or later round and develop that one to be a solid backup QB because you never know when a QB is gonna get hurt.

KTAR explained this yesterday.
1) Bradford has already been paid $10M. 2) Bradford's salary is $5M guaranteed by the Cardinals. 3) IF Bradford is ACTIVE on game day he gets $312,500 PER GAME as a bonus.
So...cutting or trading Bradford only saves the weekly $312,500. If he's not active for the rest of the season, they don't pay the bonuses.
In other words, why get rid of him? If he even helps Rosen a little bit understanding the system, he should be kept BUT not active on gameday.
Horrible deal by Keim. What a waste of money.

Pay Sam's salary and give him to SF for free if they promise to start him against us twice. Throw in a 7th and a lollypop if they don't go for it.

Say What??? Did you just do a time warp thing? Or are you just confused what year it is? We got our QBoF in the 1st rd with the 10th pick. Next year's 1st rd pick will Not be a QB. A DT, LB, CB, WR, or an O'line yes.

This would save $4,062,500.
And Kanoff is still on the PSquad if SB were to be let go.

Trading and paying for Mack would have be a nice move for this team.

There is no lock on the PS door. Ask Penny. Unless and until there is a space for him to be activated Kanoff's still meat on display - and I don't see that changing any time soon.

If Kanoff is still on the ps at the end of the season, I can see him being the #3 next season.. there is a possibility he will be snatched away by another team this season. If some other team try’s, I’d offer them Bradford in a trade deal. 7th round pick and take his contract..
