If we ask the members for a list of ten names each week starting at 1-10. We, then give them a week to reply. After that we add up all the votes. That will take 5 weeks for a 1-64 board. I would like to do 64 to cover at least 2 rounds of the draft. Then lets say we allow a week for rearranging the member's picks for a revote. Agree with this. After that we add up all the votes. The counting of our votes better be quicker/ more efficient than that other recent poll in Arizona (sorry guys, I couldn't resist). You forget Dear Sir, I have experience in Polls I am from Florida. We learned from our hanging chad incident. Florida was the role model this year in election efficiency..

Remember My posting this? in November Are we ready to get started?
The 2021 NFL DRAFT BIG BOARD AND TEAM NEEDS BOARD
If each member would provide their top 10 list of players (Best Player Available) and a list preferred Cardinal teams needs.
Cardinals Fan Forum Big Board Players 1-10 1. Trevor Lawrence QB Clemson 2. Penei Sewell OT Oregon 3. Justin Fields QB Ohio State 4. Ja-Mar Chase WR LSU 5. Zach Wilson QB BYU 6. Patrick Surtain II CB Alabama 7. Kyle Pitts TE Florida 8. Micah Parsons LB Penn State 9. Devonta Smith WR Alabama 10. Caleb Farley CB Virginia Tech
*Notes* This is an example of a big board 1-10 selection. Its not my set FLCF big board or yours. It just the names, the position and the college As I stated back in November when I started this project the comments should go under The 2021 NFL DRAFT THREAD
2021 NFL DRAFT TEAM NEEDS ( Not the official needs list )
Position Defense/Offense/Special Teams D,O,ST
1. Cornerback D 2. Tight End O 3. Offensive Lineman Interior (Center/Guard) O 4. Wide Receiver O 5. Defensive Line D 6. Offensive Lineman Tackle O 7. Edge Rusher D 8. Inside Linebacker D 9. Safety D 10. Running back O 11. Outside Linebacker D 12. Place Kicker ST 13. Punter ST 14. Kickoff returner ST 15. Punt returner ST 16. Long snapper ST 17. Quarterback O 18. Fullback O
Devongent's recommendation Week 1 - Forum members list and submit their 'top 10' (the top ranked player is attributed 10 points down to 1 point). - All of these are combined together into 'grand totals' and the highest overall scorer moves onto the Cardinals Draft Board as our number one target and then so on down to number 10.

Okay FL; I'll get my initial ten posted in the next day or so.
I am hoping that there is a reasonable number of forum members who will take the time and trouble and join in (providing their own selections). The more the merrier!
Our 'big board' will make Draft day a little bit more exciting and entertaining for us all; I have no doubt that the combined wisdom of forum members will beat that of many a GM....

Okay, I'll get the ball into play with my promised first ten pick selections. Without further ado -
1. Trevor Lawrence (QB) - Clemson 2. Justin Fields (QB) - Ohio State 3. Penei Sewell (OT) - Oregon 4. Zach Wilson (QB) - BYU 5. Micah Parsons (LB) - Penn State 6. Ja'Marr Chase (WR) - LSU 7. Patrick Surtain II (CB) - Alabama 8. Caleb Farley (CB) - Virginia Tech 9. Kwitty Paye (Edge) - Michigan 10. Trey Lance (QB) - North Dakota State
Regarding you Draft Needs List - I have come up with the following -
1. CB 2. IOL 3. WR 4. RB 5. IDL 6. Edge 7. LB 8. TE 9. Safety 10. Punter 11. Kicker 12. 0T 13. QB 14. Full Back 15. Long-snapper
You may like the picks or not, but the key question is what would be YOUR selections? - I am prepared to keep going and I will thus get my next ten ready for as and when required.

FLCardinalFan's Big Board TOP 10 2021 NFL Draft Prospects
This is not the order I believe they will get picked.
BEST PLAYER AVAILABLE
1. Penei Sewell (OT) Oregon Junior 6'6" 325 lbs.
2. Ja'Marr Chase (WR) LSU Junior 6'1" 200 lbs
3. Trevor Lawrence (QB) Clemson Junior 6"6" 220 lbs.
4. Devonta Smith (WR) Alabama Senior 6'1" 175 lbs.
5. Justin Fields (QB) Ohio St. Senior 6'3" 233 lbs.
6. Micah Parsons (LB) Penn St. Junior 6'3" 245 lbs.
7. Patrick Surtain (CB) Alabama Junior 6'2" 203 lbs.
8. Kyle Pitts (TE) Florida Junior 6'6" 246 lbs.
9. Caleb Farley (CB) Virginia Junior 6'2" 207 lbs. Tech redshirt
10. Kwity Paye (EDGE) Michigan Senior 6"4" 272 lbs.
There you have it. First of all, Sewell is hands down my BPA. He just needs to get stronger and he will. He could never be an ARIZONA CARDINAL HE HAD NO PENALTIES LAST YEAR.
Next I like cornerbacks that are good two of them are in my top 10. The two WRs are going to be great players. I have always liked Ja' Marr Chase. Parsons has the size and speed a NFL linebacker needs He is not a thumper. Kyle Pitts a rare tight end not seen often. Hockenson went 8th overall. Pitts is a better receiver as a deep threat. If he can block in the pros. Look out! Kwitty Paye right size for a defensive end/edge rusher not too big not too slow.
I am sure the other QBs will go higher Wilson & Lance In Fact Alabama's QB Mac Jones could crack the top 10. This is not a prediction board.
I will make one of those too. Later!

Stand by for my lists. They won't be much different than others unless I can find a German kicker. LOL!

I need to review some of the QB film/breakdown. I honestly haven't looked into them much since we won't be drafting one, so I can't rank them.
Do you think you'll get more participation if we did a mock draft thread instead?

We have been doing a mock draft for years on here it is usually after the combine and free agency That way we can fill needs in the draft.

I need to review some of the QB film/breakdown. I honestly haven't looked into them much since we won't be drafting one, so I can't rank them. I'll let you into a secret, I myself haven't studied or even looked at the QB's at all. - I (perhaps like yourself) don't see the point of trawling through video etc. when it is clear as day we won't be drafting one in the top ten picks. - Yes, I listed the top four (likely) prospects in my own submission, but I'll admit I took the 'lazy option' and went with the general consensus view. If the QB issue is causing people some anxiety (and thus a reluctance to post their own list) then why don't we simply assign the top QB's the draft spots #1 to #4 and then let the real debate start from #5 onwards. Not ideal perhaps, but there is my suggestion!

FL; just another suggestion to try and get some traction.
I suspect (no-way of knowing for sure) that some forum members might be holding back from making a list until nearer the draft date (possibly after the combine, for example). - I am happy to put my 'cards on the table' (a snap-shot of current thinking) and no-doubt, given time and developments, some of my selections might, in hindsight, appear to have been unwise choices.
What about.... for the few who are prepared to participate now that we list another TEN on (say) a weekly basis. - Come mid-March we should have at least covered the first two rounds and we can keep going until you say stop! - One advantage of this thought I can see is that any forum member can 'come on board at any time' and provide a full listing to catchup to where we are at that point.
It will be sad if your excellent idea of a 'forum big board' should bite the dust before it even gets started. This is partly as a result of your own enthusiasm for such, but also because it would have added another twist to the drafting season and we could gauge our collective thinking against the professional FO's. - Ultimately, we should be able to determine what three choices the combined great minds of the forum would have taken in Rounds 1 to 3 (top board pick available #16, #49 and #80), which might also include an element of 'need' via your request for a list of peoples 'priority positions'.
It would be good to receive feedback from forum members; how keen (or not) are you feeling to participate, either now or a little later on? - Obviously, it is a case of 'more the merrier', but even if we had a band of ten hardy soles willing to do a bit of groundwork and post their choice picks then that would still give us something significant to work on.
Don't be shy or have fear of ridicule! - Can we support FL on this one?...

I am waiting for two key events to collectively transpire before I post my War Room list: Free agency, and rookie prospect Pro Days at campuses. I am also watching the trade news. The Stafford-Goff trade is not the end of it. P
