Arizona Cardinals Will they make the playoffs? I don’t have enough Jim Mora memes (Playoffs?!?) to answer this.
They’ve scored six points in two games. The offensive line is so poor that David Johnson will be lucky to break 1,000 rushing yards this season. Quarterback Sam Bradford looks completely uncomfortable. The offense is so distorted that it’s hard to tell if Bradford is even a starting quarterback at this point. At some juncture, the coaching staff is going to decide that he isn’t. Once that happens, this all becomes about Josh Rosen’s development. The only thing keeping Rosen out of the lineup at this stage is the fear of either hurting him behind that line or ruining him mentally. Regardless of when he’s inserted, it’s clear this is a roster in a total state of rebuilding. The record will ultimately reflect it and Arizona will be choosing high in the next draft. Looking at the schedule, it’s hard to see the Cardinals being favored in any game the rest of the season.

The Lions are just as bad. Patricia is already fighting dissent from some of his veterans.
And as the article points out the Bills, Raiders, Texans, NYG, and loser of tonights game are all in the same boat.
Yeah, we have competition for the bottom spot.

Not sure how good Washington is but Rams sure do like the favorite for the NFC west. San Francisco is improving while Seattle has Wagner and Thomas left they will probably be good as long as Russell Wilson plays for them.

The Bears, just because they got Mack, is Not the juggernaut team we think they are. I can see them frittering away a loss to the seachickens tonight.

Who's the most desperate? The Cards have scored 6 points in 2 games. The Chiefs have 80. Next worse is the Bills (and Bears but they play tonight), with 23 points. I'd say the Cards were pretty desperate. I didn't watch the Redskins game, but it sounds like they were convincingly beaten. That doesn't help the desperation any.

In the 2nd half the Cardinals showed signs of life nearly got a safety but they let Alex Smith get away with a toss as he was going to the ground bad call. The defense also held them to 3 points and we nearly got two touchdowns but got 1 and a turnover on downs. I thought they would come out firing this week but they looked far worse.

actually I was long up when the last time was the cards were dead last in the power rankings. still haven't found the answer but did come across a site named teamrankings dot come or something like that. they actually had the cards favored by 4 in the next game. it must be some auto odds bot that only considers home field advantage or something. nor are the cards desperate. desperation implies a strong desire for change and a willingness to try anything for a better outcome. the cards don't seem to care. upi seem to be one of those dj fans that thinks just because he got paid a ton of money he must be worth it right? if the offense is so bad they make a player who is the best in the nfl (in your openion) look incompetent, why would you stick a developmental rookie who is the future of your franchise in that same back field?
incompetence at this level is 100% the coaching staff. the team proved it could be an 8-8 team last year with backups at most skill positions. with their starting qb and running back they would have easily been a play off team. when bidwill becomes desperate or cares about winning we will see wilks in the unemployment line. desperation for? nope. I don't even see a hint of willingness to accept yet. which coach has been fired yet? and these are coaches who cant cross the 50 with what should be a playoff team. dj fitz and Bradford don't carem they get paid either way. Peterson did show some pride with the int yesterday but is his new found freedom comeing at the cost of the defense not coming close to stopping anybody. last week Adrian looked like he hadn't aged in 10 years. yesterday he got two yards. we couldn't stop washingtons offense who laid the same goose egg as us the next week. to make big changes you have to start at the top and this team needs big changes.

My terrible English. I meant I didn't watch the Redskins game yesterday. I suffered week 1 along with everyone else.
Yesterday I had a monster headache. The first half finished about 11.15pm or so our time, So I called it a night. 19-0. It seems I got off a little lucky.

They passed on Darnold who went to the Jets because they thought they could win now with Eli. They set their organization back a decade with the drafting of Barkley and their cross town rivals are setup for a decade or more. Cardinal stadium sells at least 25% of their seats to out of town fans who come in for a weekend of golf and to see their team play the Cardinals. This team will never be desperate to field a great team.

nfl cities should start declaring imminent domain and seizing nfl teams who have incompetent owners for the benefit of the community just like homes were seized to build the stadium for the benefit of the community. that way if the problem with the team is the owner it can be rectified. when owners feel the pressure and know they can be replaced we'll see them trying harder. there should be a rule that if a team misses the playoffs for X amount of years the owner is the ex owner. and any 0-16 season should trigger it immediately. if people homes can be taken for a team for the benefit of the community then the team can be taken for the benefit of the community for the same reason.

That's pretty radical, but I like how it gives power back to the people/fans.

I haven't been this pessimistic since the Sun Devil stadium days. Looking at the schedule, I don't see one sure win. I can't believe the team can go from 8-8 with a cast of second stringers to one so inept, it can't get past the 50 yard line on offense, but if this continues, the only game on the schedule that looks even competitive is the Detroit game on Dec 9th.
unless this ship gets righted..now....this team is looking at 3 wins max and has a real shot at running the table in reverse,

I think I can probably speak for most people and say yes you did. Lady luck was on your side!
