Charlie Weis just said it best on Sirius XM; "Listen, this kid is way behind Sam (Bradford). I know everyone is worried about Bradford's injuries but this kid has a long injury history as well, he's a concussion guy. He's a smart kid, and a good kid by all accounts but at the end of the day he is not Sam Bradford by a long shot, and barring injury he will sit all of 2018.."
He went on to say; "The thing that really bothers me about Rosen is what his coach at UCLA said..and I know there was some back tracking but he said Rosen was only concerned about football when he had to be in the building, that REALLY concerns me because sooner or later it will materialize in the NFL.."
As I have sad all along, there is zero that Rosen does better than Sam and he will only get the job when it is handed to him because it is laughable to consider "what if he out plays Sam..?"
If only the Cardinals did something to upgrade this sad wr corps, this could have been a special season because DJ looks great, Fitz is Fitz and the D I expect to be strong. Sam will play outstanding but the offense will be limited unless a couple "other" WR's step up big time.
Well, I guess there's always Dez. Oh wait, he's visiting the BROWNS! lol

I thought he played well. He has nice zip, pocket presence, and footwork OL did him no favors
I thought he played like a rookie.
First play of game he takes snap and stares down his receiver in the right flat. Completes the pass but against #1 cb that's brken up if not picked.
His longest gainer he showed nice pocket presence and kept his eyes down field but the throw was poor, behind the receiver and low, if he throws that out front as he should have that would have been a HUGE gainer.
The back shoulder to Little was also late and too far outside, giving Little no chance to get both feet down.
I expect he will be better this week and I bet they scheme stuff up to MAKE HIM LOOK BETTER too.

During his sophomore season, Rosen was injured in early October in a game against Arizona State. Rosen injured his throwing (right) shoulder late in the game during a sack near the sideline. After attempting to return a few weeks in a row, further imaging showed structural damage, which required surgery.
Rosen may have entered 2017 healthy, but he certainly didn’t finish it that way. During his junior year in 2017, Rosen suffered two concussions in less than a month. As we’ve seen with many other players, subsequent concussions in a short time period raise a major concern about a player’s long-term health.
Research suggests that players who experience more than one concussion throughout their career are more likely to experience an additional concussion at a later date. This effect increases as a player suffers more concussions. In other words, a player with five concussions is much more likely to get another concussion compared a player who’s only had two. Concussions are very hard to predict, but we do know that Rosen is at a slightly increased risk for missing time due to a concussion. If he lands behind a poor offensive line early in his career, and he takes more hits than other QBs, his career length could be shortened if he experiences a concussion early on in his career.

I just watched that 'All Rosen throws Saturday night' video.' What a nightmare PS game situation for our prized rookie QB. But he seemed ready to handle the Center's sloppiness and OL oops moments just fine.
One thing I did focus on a lot was Rosen's technique and athleticism. In those regards, I saw no flaws. None. Ding ding ding, we have our QBoF now.
Wilks and Keim should only be worried about MLB teams trying to sign Rosen to play infield. LOL! Rosen was great at fielding short hops and accurately firing the ball to first or second base.

None of what Charlie says is a revelation. I don't care about the crap about his commitment at UCLA , it sounds contrived. He is fully in here. There is no doubt he is way behind Sam. Sam has taken the reins from day one. The only issue is Sam's health. Can he stay healthy? If he does Rosen can sit and learn. Which I think is very beneficial. But when Sam goes down (I hope he can last 5-6 games but I doubt it) then I have full confidence this kid can do the job and grow with it.
