I think we will have money after we resign all our guys ( this is based on fitz and buc being resigned) for 2 big name guys.. I think it needs to be Williams at RT, and then depending on if we do that hypothetical jags trade either Suh ( if we trade) or corner if we stand pat and take williams at #1.. I got to think this organization is looking at oline and wr to give Rosen every opportunity to become the franchise.. based on that, I think we trade and go heavy offense first 3 rounds, with suh as a stop gap for the run defense.. I always dreamed of how fun it would be to have the number 1 pick, it hasn’t let me down.. I change my mind daily!!! I just wish we didn’t have so many holes whilst having #1 Suh clearly went to the Rams because he is chasing a ring. Why would he sign here?

Not a free agent but someone I think is worth going after
I was watching Texas Tech highlights and one player that really stood out was Jakeem Grant, WR who was a 6th rd pick for the Dolphins. He’s only 5’7” but he’s been a solid return man in the NFL
But he’s Texas Tech’s all time leader in receiving yards and he did it all with KK as either OC or HC. With that much familiarity and success with the system, I have to think he would be a really nice addition. I wonder what they would want in return but the Cards have a bunch of late round comp picks

I suppose/ would suggest that if we hadn't had so many holes then we wouldn't have reached the top spot! (or, should that be bottom?!).

Regardless of the Free Agents we pick up this season, it is going to stay ugly before it gets pretty for us. Why?
- New Head Coach means new playbook. Starting from scratch for Offense and Defense.
- New Defensive Coordinator and will his 34 defense work well in his first season. Chandler and Bosa on the ends with one of our existing DT's or drafting/FAing a DT would in my opinion work well. Or, Chandler on edge, draft Q for DT and use one of our existing DE's or draft/FA a DE. If we go back to the 34, we need very good LB's. The fate of our Defense and stopping the run are going to be the complete responsibility of Joseph. The question is, can he upgrade us to become an overall top 10 defense?
- Rosen: If Rosen was in High School, he would have flunked this past year and would have to repeat the year to continue his education. So this next season he has to almost start from scratch with a new HC, OC and DC. He will have a new playbook and take direction from new coaches. He found out what it was like to get beat up in the NFL. I am still hanging on to his "words" that the teams that didn't draft him before we did, made a mistake. I think that the WR receiver roster needs to be upgraded in the draft and/or FA. I really hope we don't get AB. We need a united locker room. Would Rosen and Browns personalities work together?
- New OC might not make that big of a difference if Kingsbury is calling the plays. But having an OC with previous NFL HC/OC Coordinator experience should help our new HC.
- The draft, will Keim and Bidwill make the right choices? I am thinking that Kingsbury will have some input, however the final decision will be made by these two. Will they focus on BPA or Need regardless of trade down or not?
- Free Agency, what needs do we try to fill here. If we can't get some of the higher priced Free Agents that fill our needs because they don't want to come here, would money be a motivator? Someone mentioned Suh would not come here because he wants to be on a team that could provide him with a Championship. When the Rams signed him, Suh had visited with the Rams, Saints and Titans. A chance for a Championship with the Saints or Rams is understandable. However, the Titans were not that caliber. Could it be he visited them because they had the most cap space that off season? Hmm...so could money be a motivator for him? I am just saying, it is not impossible for us to sign him as an FA, especially if the Rams don't make it to the Super Bowl and win or if the Rams don't extend his one year contract. I would love to see Chandler, Suh and Bosa in the 34. And yes, that could happen, slim chance but my middle name is "Slim". Ha Ha Ha.
What do I want to see this season? Major improvement in Rosen, more yards, more touchdowns and less turnovers. If we win 6 games or more this coming season and the losses we have are at least competitive, I would be good with that. I just don't see us making it to the playoffs next year. I just want to see us improve offensively and defensively and not go backwards. Though, it is sort of hard to go backwards from last season. If we end up 8-8 or better, I would be ecstatic! We could then look forward to playoff contention in the next couple of years. One more thing, if we can't figure out how to stop the run, we are going to continue to lose games.

Looking at the 2019 Free Agents Tracker we have the following individuals listed - www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/all/arizona-cardinals/offensive-line/As a starting point, out of these players only, who (if any) do you feel that we need to resign for next year? - A simple 'keep' or 'dump' against each individual would suffice. This topic might have been discussed before, but your views now would certainly bring clarity to me. - At the very least it might then give an insight as to how many bodies that we need to get in before next season (via additional FA hires + the draft). - I am working on a need for TEN - Sure some of the quality may be below what me might desire, but this is going to be beyond a one year fix.

LAC WR Tyrell Williams had an average game against the Pats.. Or Did I miss something.. 5 catches for 94 yards no TD’s, He had a couple bad drops.. I’d say a WR 3-4 even though his yardage numbers were good, some came in garbage time.. As a FA WR, I hope the cards look at the drop in the first half.. heard footsteps.. came back a play or 2 later and made a catch, short of the sticks.. He is a better WR than most of the guys on the Cardinals..but that isn’t saying much.. If he is on their short list, just hope they don’t over pay.
Go Cardinals!

with 70 mil in cap space
10 mil left in "bank" for emergencies
20 mil to resign cards own free agents-larry has to play for way less than 11 mil(golden, buc, mayowa, +?)
40 mil to sign a guard, a tackle, a wr and a cb/dt-sk has to get these right-might have to backload one or two of these contracts but not all please
i really like adam humphries(wr from tampa)...he's amendola-ish and imho would do great in kk's offense
if above are done then cards CAN draft bpa whether they trade down or not
i just spent a hour or so looking at free agents-one would hope that sk is spending 10 hours a day doing this and he's already had 2 weeks. imho if you have a problem within your business you either come up with genius ideas(so far sk's genius ideas have been bad) or you throw money and labor at the issue until it is fixed. the cap limits how much money can be spent on players but if mb can buy a new jet then he could also pay for a free agent consultant and more scouts and a draft consultant.
if i were sk i would be spending nearly every waking moment on upgrading cards roster because 1-its the job and 2-i would be embarrassed to the point of shame

I believe $70 million is about where we will be after cutting Gresham, and includes projected 2019 increase. Then we have 46 players under contract with 24 pending free agents. I’d guesstimate we have money for 4 pretty big free agent signings (starter level) plus Fitz. We have to make decisions on guys like Golden, DBuc, Gunter and many cheaper contract players.

Larry will come back..$$$ is the question. I’m guessing 8-10 mill minimum and that a hometown discount, could be more with incentives.. you have to pencil him in at 10 million.. that’s lots of money, but I think he is worth every cent...

I think your more like 30-32mil for our own FA These are the ones I would resign: Fitz 11m Moore 850k Phillips 850k Dbuch 5-6m? Gunter 2.5m Mayowa 2.5m Pierre 1m Foster 850k Golden 5-6m? Seals-jones 850k
Buchanan and Golden are wild cards: Golden would have been 10-11m a year ago, 1 year prove it? Buchanan would have been 7-8 mil a year ago Something tells me another team is going to drive up the number on one or both of these guys based on past performance
If they resign both Mayowa and golden I think that tells us they are not targeting Bosa in the draft
The above salaries are just my guess, I think fitz has a 11 mil deal with MB as long As he wants to play

His speed is waning. That's about the only part of his game not keeping up with the $11M contracts. Maybe LF will make up for some of that drop in speed with a revamped offense under Kliff. More passing! More LF! More scoring!

I predict we have the money for 2 big name FA’s .. yes you can get creative, but I still don’t think your looking at more than 2 big names, maybe a couple more mid levels

Antonio Brown to Cardinals? Trade speculation for Steelers wide receiver includes Arizona Last week, Steelers president Art Rooney II told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that while the team won't release star wide receiver Antonio Brown, it's "hard to envision" the wide receiver in Pittsburgh when training camp begins next season. Speculation about where the wide receiver could land started to run rampant soon after. Some of it involved the Arizona Cardinals. Check out what some NFL pundits are saying about it. amp.azcentral.com/amp/2570963002?__twitter_impression=true
