I’d take a hard look at landing one of Lawrence, Suh or Clowney depending on who we plan to draft...I like Q but could be Bosa or a trade down. Also could look at Dee Ford if we go back to the 3-4. Additionally, we have to make a decision on Golden. I’d ideally like to add a stud interior and stud outside Dlineman, one by first round and one by big free agent signing.
I’d love to get one of Wright from the Seahawks or Mosley from the Ravens. We need to get better at ILB.
Getting Swearinger back at S helps a lot at the position with Baker, but I’d love 25 yr old Landon Collins.
I’m not sure about CB2 yet. Ramsey in a trade is an intriguing idea but we don’t want new coaches to have locker room issues.
I think we are set at RB for a Kingsbury offense, and of course Josh is QBOF.
I’d like to draft a WR in second or third round but am interested in Cobb as a FA and would like to pursue Sterling Shepherd in trade from the Giants. I think he’d be a perfect young WR for Josh in what I expect this offense will be, and he will have to get paid next year. Giants won’t be able to afford him and OBJ next year.
TE there are no big free agents or trades I see, but there look to be good options in round three or four.
Biggest question mark is Oline, of course. Not liking the options but Williams or James at T are options. Get a guard in round 2?

the sad reality is that current olineman on team are so bad the cards HAVE to overpay a bit just to get the decent fa olineman in for 2019...hopefully on 2-3 yr contracts and build oline of future thru draft/fa over next 3 yrs.

We may be able to add a FA Oline and a WR. Other than that it’s about the draft. This years draft isn’t great either. It’s probably a 2 yr rebuild, moving down in the draft and getting some 2020 picks is a good strategy. If we suck in 2019 (which is very possible) our 2020 draft position should be top 5 I’m guessing. The best way to build a team is through the draft, and sprinkle in some FA. I expect the cards won’t make a big splash in FA, but will get 3 to 4 guys that will help on defense. We might get a couple FA Oline guys possibly a WR, but nothing earth shattering. That all being said, I think the 2019 Cardinals will throw the ball all over the field. Should be exciting to watch, but 6 wins is my guess.

This is why is false to say build the oline by FA. Just overpay for guys that will suck.
The other option to wait for is guys cut due to financial reasons. It will have some guys we might like.

I think this year, cuts may actually have more value since it is a weak FA class. Problem is these things need to be addressed before those cuts start happening. So someone could have already been overpaid. We really do need more draft picks and to choose correctly.

There will be good players cut late, I don’t think you’ll get very many Oline guys being cut. They will be traded for late picks in 2020, before they are cut.. Traditional (good) Oline guys are hard to find, so it may be the plan to use un-traditional Oline schemes. Smaller faster guys that can create a moving pocket, and a zone blocking scheme for running plays. The offense the Cardinals will put on the field in 2019 will be different that most NFL teams. A unique offensive plan. Rosen has good movement and as long as he can get a little more time to throw, it might just work. Its a big chance they are taking, but there just aren’t enough talented Oline guys out there.. You have to draft them and coach them up. Speed and agility might be the answer. I cant wait to see the final product, next season.. I just think it’s a 2 year rebuild..

That proves how valuable the position is. I do think we could pick up other guys to fill our team through cuts and first dib waiver cuts. This is why it's so important to fill our draft spots with oline guys. Clearly by selecting KK as our coach it's putting our identity of our team as an offensive one. And it will change our draft strategy now. I can see us moving out of that number one spot to fill our basket with picks.

This years FA class is garbage. I think the 1 guy worth pursuing is Panthers RT Daryl Williams. All others -bleh Agree but I would also look at another CB this year as well... the rest fill out in the draft.

The OPs FA list is an appetizer. Some teams will try to trade good players due to contract and attitude issues before TC. Not all players will be FAs, like Antonio Brown, but some will want to follow the Cards cap money anyway, especially if the FA market is tight or sucks as some above are suggesting and MB is ready to pay top dollar for top talent.

Na. I think is a F/A period where we'll need to get creative and make some trades

I think we will have money after we resign all our guys ( this is based on fitz and buc being resigned) for 2 big name guys.. I think it needs to be Williams at RT, and then depending on if we do that hypothetical jags trade either Suh ( if we trade) or corner if we stand pat and take williams at #1.. I got to think this organization is looking at oline and wr to give Rosen every opportunity to become the franchise.. based on that, I think we trade and go heavy offense first 3 rounds, with suh as a stop gap for the run defense.. I always dreamed of how fun it would be to have the number 1 pick, it hasn’t let me down.. I change my mind daily!!! I just wish we didn’t have so many holes whilst having #1

Between the draft and FA we should add 8-10 picks + 3 comps. = maybe 6 keepers// 3-5 in FA who will all plug a hole That adds up to 10 to the 53..
The claim right will add a few guys late in preseason and first 3 weeks.. pick of the litter..
