this one could REALLY END UP 77-0...rogers mite throw for 700 yards-he will keep throwing regardless of score cause he is still pissed at losing 2 playoff games to cards.

This game will at least tone down all the fire McCarthy and possible next HC talk for one week after they destroy us on their turf.

McCarthy is a good Irish Catholic. As soon as the Packers are ahead by 35 -- say halfway through the 2nd quarter -- Mccarthy will apply mercy and pull Rogers. There will no Hail Mary's on Sunday.

There will no Hail Mary's on Sunday. lol...I got to admit that is funny but sadly it could happen....keep in mind this will be a cold weather game. We have so much going against us, this will just be an added burden we're probably are not prepared for. I've been a long time fan, but when the Cards left St Louis, I kind of lost interest. Before the internet, they were just too hard to follow living in Illinois. So there is a gap where I didn't really know much about them. Well, I looked up the history of win-lose records to educate myself. To my surprise, the last time we only won 2 games was in 1959, and that was a 12 game season. Winning even a 3rd game this year will be an upset. I guess it could happen, but I'm not going to hold my breath. The truth is, this may become the worst season we have ever had. I will always be a Cardinal fan even if we suck again next year ( I'm too old to change teams now ) These are trying times. I'm going to expect the worst but hope for the best....

Hi T.C.
Did you see the post where i said
It would take the Cardinals over 12 years of undefeated seasons in a row just to get to even on their all time WON vs LOST RECORD Minus 197 wins
552 VS 749 and 40 ties
I will never see Glory of a dynasty like the Steelers , Patriots and the Packers

Hello FLCardinalFan: Don't concern yourself with the past records, just stay in the present and hope/ look forward to better times...
Cardinals are currently at the bottom of their biggest down cycle (perhaps in their history), but you know what things will improve. Maybe in 4/5 years time we will be at top of the biggest up-cycle - No-one knows for sure. - That's the good thing about the NFL structure (salary cap/ draft); it is designed to help those at the bottom to come back and therefore there is a constant churn in fortunes and therefore fans of all teams can DREAM and HOPE.
Contrast the above with say soccer here in the UK - Basically at the beginning of every season there are only six teams who have any realistic chance of coming out on top. Now that seems to be contracting even from that small number (for those who may follow the English Premier league please don't anyone quote Leicester, it won't happen again). My point is that should the same happen in the States with the NFL then to my mind it will completely kill the game within a few years; I don't think that the paying public in America could stomach that type of competition. - Therefore, be grateful for the NFL as it is and forget about any dynasty's (they are thankfully very rare).
Coming back to topic: - Five games left and I think most Cardinal fans just wish the season to be over. However, I still feel there is a lot to be gained, namely as others have mentioned too, we need to be giving other squad players a real go. - I would start with Mike Glennon. No other reason than he signed a two year contract and I would like to see what he can do. Can he do a decent job and be an able back up for next season? or failing that could he a number three QB and thus still have a future here next year? - Surely we cannot keep cutting too many players under contract, it must cost a fortune?!
I don't know if anyone knows/ could find out: - How many on the current roster have NOT played this season (discounting any that may be currently injured?). - If there are some more than Glennon, why are they now not put in the team and told that they are starting for the next five games. Challenge them "go out and show us what you have to offer". - I can only imagine that the effort and desire would be there!

The only positive about this game is that my wife will be one of the pilots flying the flyover to start the game. If we were competitive at all this year I'd be there with her.

I see this going similar to the Chargers game. Im thinking 45-17. Slight improvement because Hump will be back at LT and Cunningham will man RT. So the OL might be moderately better

I FOUND A CARDINAL FAN A TRUE ONE IN WISCONSIN Here he is! With Proof! Long time fan for his age! Maybe Santa can stop by that young man's house, spend the night, and empty the sled. That video is a riot. He was a true fan a few years ago. I wonder, is he still all in for ARI? Or was he just parroting his sister? Thanks for the extra hope, FLCF!
