I am not really sure the exact moment I became a diehard Cardinals fan. I live near the Toronto area, and didn't have a team for the longest time. I just simply enjoyed watching football. I was a big fan of Warner, Fitzgerald, and Boldin though. The more I watched them, the more attached I got to the team. I haven't looked back! The only other teams I root for are the ones with former significant Cardinals players (ie. Campbell in Jacksonville). I haven't actually gotten the chance to speak face-to-face with another Cardinals fan! As I said, I live near Toronto, so we have a mixed bag of fandom up here. Lots of people cheer for the Bills, Cowboys, Jets, Raiders, and 49ers. I do remember seeing one person in the grocery store wearing a Cardinals hat though! That's about as close as I have come to seeing another fan, lol. So, needless to say, this Cardinals forum must live on! I need to talk Cardinals with somebody! Cardnadian, you are definitely not the only Cards fan in eastern Canada, and certainly not in the Toronto area which is crawling with NFL fans. Try wearing your Cards hat in public and then watch for the smiles. If you have a dog, take him/her along with you. Instant fan magnet.

I've always had an NFC team (the Cards of course) ... and an AFC team (the Raiders). So yeah, November 18th this year will be an interesting day in my house!

I live in Illinois and have been a Cards fan since the 60's. When the Cards moved away, and the Rams came to St Louis, I tried to become a Rams fan. It didn't work. Even when they won to the Super Bowl, I still couldn't make any real connection with them. I'm afraid I'm a Cards fan no matter what. No other teams need to apply... Other than trying to like the Rams, I suppose I always root for the underdog....well....unless its the Cowboys...

For years before '88 I was a 9er fan. Even after the Cards came I liked the 9ers since they were in a different division and usually in the post season, but I became a Cards fan in '88. That ended when the league restructured the divisions. Lol at the Bears fans, reminds me my son who was quite young then loved Refigerator Perry and he became a Bears fan the same year they won the SB. The wife called him "the Crisper".

I was a Rams fan from the 70's tell I went to the Giants for one season and then to the Cardinals. I was what you guys called a Warner worshiper but I never left. I divorced the Rams back then and fell in love with the Cardinals.

I thought it would be nice to know what other nfl team(s) you are a fan of. I am a fan of the Bronco’s born in Denver. If I happen to go to a Regular season Cardinals/Broncos game, I would cheer for the Cardinals. Unless the cards are out of the playoff chase. Then I would root for the Broncos if they were still in the chase. So on a percentage basis, I’d say I’m 65% Cards fan and 35% Bronco fan. Also I may add, I’m 100% Seahawks hater. From coach double rainbow all the way through that organization. Go Cards! AHEM, Here is a a little bit of life lesson For Ya. 1. A Fan may have several pets as in dogs , cats horses, donkeys or somethin else. 65% of one breed and 35% another is a Mutt anyway you look at it. I'm Purebred Cardinal (RED FEATHERS) not (RED, ORANGE AND BLUE) 2. You may have several homes to love and live in 3. You might drive 2 or more cars nice rides maybe a Benz and a Bentley 4. You may be lucky have 3 or 4 girlfriends, a few wives, ex wives Whatever may be the Case! 5. But in Life as a True Arizona Cardinal Fan A. You are the one who is Loyal ( like a dog) B. UOP stadium is your home C. Your best rides are MB, Keim, Wilks, Rosen, DJ, Fitz, PP and others >They will get you places. They are your Master D. There are no "Mistress teams" (Monster Ike) < Cowgirl fan E. A TRUE LOYAL FAN IS IN SICKNESS 4-12 & inHealth "Warner Super Bowl Appearance" Better 13-3, 8-8 Super Bowl OR worse 2 QBS down For Richer: Josh Rosen , DJ Or Poorer: TM contract , Gresham contract Till Death DO US part There has been ONE AND ONLY ONE TEAM IN MY LIFE THE ARIZONA CARDINALS. They have been in my life for over half a Century. Yes, Seattle,LA & SF are most hated. Enough Said!

Theres no other team I like. Outside of the Cardinals, I might root for a PLAYER on another team.
Big fan of:
Aaron Donald Joe Thomas ( retired) Ed Reed (retired) Russ Wilson Luke Kuechly CC
Tom Brady - I dont understand the hate. Why? Because hes the best ever? Thats not a reason to hate. You got dudes in the NFL drunk driving and suplexing women, what has Tom ever done than just simply beat your team? Hes a good man, great player, good father, good husband, good citizen. Im a huge Tom Brady fan.

I was a *gasp* 9`r fan until the cards moved to town......Cardinal fan one and only since 1988 I can relate. I grew up idolizing Joe Montana and Jerry Rice. Even after the Cards moved here, I was still rooting for them a bit. At least the Cards were in a different division back then.
