I thought it would be nice to know what other nfl team(s) you are a fan of. I am a fan of the Bronco’s born in Denver. If I happen to go to a Regular season Cardinals/Broncos game, I would cheer for the Cardinals. Unless the cards are out of the playoff chase. Then I would root for the Broncos if they were still in the chase. So on a percentage basis, I’d say I’m 65% Cards fan and 35% Bronco fan. Also I may add, I’m 100% Seahawks hater. From coach double rainbow all the way through that organization. Go Cards!

Growing up in the early 70's in Indianapolis, we didn't have a home team. So in my family, you chose the Dolphins, Steelers, or Cowboys. I chose the Steelers and cheered them on to their first 4 Super Bowls. We moved to Tempe in 1978. When the Cards rolled into town a decade later, I became a Cardinals fan first and foremost.
Fast forward to the 2008 Super Bowl. I'll NEVER forgive the Steelers and the refs for gifting them that Super Bowl. I hate the Steelers to this day, and ALWAYS root against them. Them, the Cheatriots, the Sea Chickens, and the Forty Whiners. In the NE/Sea Super Bowl, I didn't care who won. I was hoping for a debacle of 12 combined interceptions, 30 sacks, 15 fumbles, and a 2-0 final score for whoever was lucky to come out of that game ahead.

I'm an Arizona native so I got to adulthood without an NFL team in Arizona. Sometime in the early 70s (7-9 years old, I'd guess) I latched onto the Redskins because I thought they had cool helmets. Me and a high school friend of mine were the only Redskins fans of which I was aware. So that was that, then they win a Super Bowl in '82 and Redskins fans are everywhere (big surprise, I know). Anyway, the Cardinals arrive in '88 and they're my favorite team. It's funny when I watch the Cardinals play the Redskins how I 100% want the Cardinals to win. I always root for the home team. Sad part is that I grew up an obsessive Suns fan, now I don't think I can name five guys on the roster. I gave up the NBA probably in the mid/late 90s due to boredom.

Grew up in Chicago with Walter “Sweetness” Payton and William “Refridgerator” Perry posters on my bedroom walls, and knew all the words to “The Super Bowl Shuffle”. Ditka. Da Bearrrs! Crushing the Patriots in the Super Bowl. Then blessed with the 6 Championships of the Bulls and Jordan, Pippen and Rodman. Came to ASU in 94 and started hitting Cardinals games at Sun Devil stadium, but was mainly a fan of SD football, in school with Plummer and Tillman. When they became Cardinals, I became a Cardinal.

I started out a Bears fan having been born and raised in Chicago suburbia in the 1950s. After returning in 1971 from two years overseas in the Army, I relocated to southern Illinois and became a Cardinals fan in the 70s. Loved Jim Hart and the Cardiac Kids days. And after finishing a couple of engineering degrees, I headed out to Seattle to work for a giant aerospace firm in 1980 and became a Seahawks fan. Been there ever since.

I'm not a fan of any other team, but there are other teams that I respect.
I've always respected the Packers and the Eagles from the NFC.
I've just always thought they were really well run organizations that were dedicated to putting a winning product on the field year after year.
From the AFC I've always respected the Patriots. They have their issues but they seem to be the one organization that takes emotion completely out of the process. They think proactively and will trade their best players if
A) The value is good enough OR B) They think his best years are behind him

only fan of the Cards.
but I admire NE and their striving for excellence.
I have no problem acknowledging great athletes such as Russell Wilson either unlike so many on here.

Grew up outside of St.Louis on route 66/44. In fall of '68, my Junior year of HS became a Cardinal fan and a KC fan as well. ( I could only watch football on Sunday afternoon if Dad was outside ) By the time of the KC/Miami longest game in playoff history (att). I was living on my own (going thru an early divorce from getting married too young). Ed Podalak, Lenny Dawson, Buch Buchannon and others were some of my favorite players for when I watched KC. For the Cards, Jim Hart, Mel Gray, Roger Wehrli, Jackie Smith, and then Terry Metcalf were favorites in those early years. Was drafted in 1972 so I enlisted for 3. Was stationed in California for all of '73 and did not get to see either of the Cards or KC that much. Spent '74 and most of '75 in Germany. Did get to come back and go to Busch Stadium in late '75 when the Cards hosted the Packers. Jim Bakken kicked 5 FGs that day and the O scoring 2 TDs to beat the Packers 29-? (just drew a blank on the packs score), it was not a flashy win but it was a win. The seats we got for that game were at the very Top of the stadium and the field looked really small from way up there. lol Was cold and windy up there, but we had a guy next to us who had a set of binoculars that he shared with the Mrs. and me. End zone view. So Cards fan 1st then KC fan.
