That with all this playoff talk…only (1) Cardinal win this year has come against a team currently over 500…same for the Seahawks…my guess is the Cardinals will need two more victories against teams above 500 when they play them in order to get to the playoffs…the Seahawks and the Rams…who probably will be above 500 next time we play them…can’t really get into the playoffs without beating teams above 500…and you really shouldn’t qualify if you can’t…IMO…with all this talk…it’s time to put up…or shut up!

It just doesn’t matter. This team will get smoked and embarrassed in the playoffs. They are’nt there yet. If they beat Chickens then will be in the running, but not a given. If they lose then their fate has been decided and I hope they draft well. No matter what, they aren’t making a playoff run.

But the average life span of an NFL player is 3-4 years…and if any team or roster is going to get playoff experience…the sooner…the better…because every year you don’t get playoff experience is another year you burn…and the roster further changes and so does the coaching staff. The core players need the experience of a playoff even while building the roster…don’t ever underestimate that…cause if you don’t get it…it will be the one thing you can not replicate once you get there…playoff experience is invaluable…and when you have a chance for it…you must grab it. 👍

I don't know about getting smoked if the Cardinals make the playoffs. The Cardinals have enough skilled and healthy players to hang with anybody.
But the Cardinals will have to play near-perfect football to win.

That is the type of things defenses will do to them in the playoffs. Not sure we will even find out as they have to prove they can win big games during the regular season to even get there. I very much would like to be wrong about that. I think I have more backing my opinion than those that think they will make a run. Two weeks in a row Kyler has made horrible mistakes that contributed big time to the losses. These bonehead plays happen to show up regularly in big games.

At the time they did beat contenders then the wheels fell off. The 49ers were just snake bitten. Could have beaten buffalo so don't sale them short the bar has been set.

I think we are overachieving. We have some pieces in place but we are far from a finished product. If we are a playoff team, we are a borderline one. We still need a lot of help at multiple positions namely OG, Center, DT, DE, and WR. And when I am referring to help at these positions, I'm not just referring to needing one player at that position to shore it up. We need at least two more offensive guards, two more defensive tackles, and two more receivers. The Steve Keim drafted receivers are marginal at best.

Pretty sure we do not have any. Undrafted Dortch and undrafted practice squad Baccellia are the only ones I can think of that were even on any Keim controlled team. I would not expect them to get a center, the team and Kyler love Froholdt.

We were right up until we returned from the bye and we still are if we can win sunday. True they can be better but what team other then a few can say they can win it all ? this team is still alive and for me at this time the one position really holding them back is the most important position on the field.

I think it's cool that we are 3 weeks from Christmas and talking about the Cardinals being in the playoffs in January.
Who realized this would happen? No one.

Not all his picks are gone yet due to their contracts and a lack of replacement options. Ugh. We trek on, wondering through endless deserts, looking for the oasis.

One way or another I hope they are guaging whether KM has what it takes. The team has done better then expected so that tells me we are good enough to see if KM is the franchise Qb. I know this might rub some on here wrong but I think he has had plenty of chances to prove he has the ability or not and he gets another shot this weekend. I just can't give anymore passes hoping he all of a sudden get's it. While I am glad some games he was very good he was bad in several game making the same mistakes that plagued him and the team in big games. He has to show he can finish, come on now the friggen sea chickens you meltdown to. I am wishing him luck while at the same time preparing for the same ol story in big games for KM. It's time no more excuses in my opinion.

This is not the type of game he has performed up to expectations. I hope he surprises you this weekend.

I think many expected the Cardinals to be around .500 this year. What was not expected is the rest of the division to also be there. Exactly! Here they all are in the throes of mediocrity! Maybe if Kyler goes to sleep every night listening to a clear calm voice repeating, "It's not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game. You can only control what YOU can control." OK....Lol...I'm not a psychologist.
