Herbert going to waste with the chargers. Looks like a great fit for both teams if we traded KM for Herbert he is going to waste with the chargers. Harbaugh could micro manage KM and we could use a gun slinger Herbert lol. I am serious some team will beat us to Herbert. I hope the best for both but I could see this working out for both teams but it's just a pipe dream for me.

He did get his ankle rolled up early in the season but would still be better in our system and Kyler would be better in theirs. This is a move both teams could be ok with. Harbaugh has a masserati and only needs a beetle lol. Their oline was pretty poor for a while now looks like Harbaugh is working on it.

Although he would get killed behind our offensive line. How many years have we been talking about the offensive line? I'm not the longest Cardinals fan but I've been banging this drum since 2006. If we can't improve the O line we need a quarterback like Murray.

Harbaugh would not take Murray off Gannon's hands. Not even for free.

Grass is always greener on the other side of the fence isn't it. If you say so. This was my thought as well. The old what if. I watched Herbert disappoint in Oregon as well. Oregon was stacked more than OK when K1 was there. College doesn’t translate to NFL at times, but Herbert and K1 have translated and have had ups and downs. Herbert needs more support and better team than K1 does for success. The K1 hate will continue and it gets old. If a hen had nuts you’d call it a rooster. lol The Cards will role with K1 no matter how it disappoints some fans.

I remember Herbert being touted as the Ducks QB in 2019. He was massive at 6'6" and had an equally massive arm.
FWIW, I pulled Herbert's stats for the last 3 games--1 home game followed by 2 road games.
Herbert's thrown just 2 TDs in those 3 games.
Vs. the Chiefs, he mustered 59% completions for 179 yards;
Vs. the Broncos, he mustered 61% completions for 237 yards;
and vs. the Cardinals, he mustered 69% for a whopping 349 yards--and lost the game as we know because the Chargers could not get the ball into the end zone even with a 6'6" QB gouging the Cardinals D on almost every pass play.
So, I guess Murray probably is the better QB after his last 3 games. Let's roll with K1 the rest of the year.

Herbert has the NFL’s current top ranked defense, a really solid run game, supposed great coaching..yet leads an offense that averages a league low 15 points per game.
If Murray had what the stats and failures Herbert has this year fans would be going crazy to dump the bum for a 12 pack of Gatorade.

Herbert is arguably the most overrated QB in the league. He is often talked about like a top 10 and in the past a top 5 QB. There is nothing special about him. Even when he had a good supporting cast, he underachieved. He is terrible in the redzone. He tends to hold onto the ball too long and doesn't read defenses quickly enough. Yes, you can argue he lost his supporting cast this year but even in the past when he had those players, he didn't do anything with them. He is your classic empty stat guy. Puts up yards when it doesn't matter and against weak teams. When the offense needs to score, he disappears.
Also, if you watch Herbert throw, he doesn't have a strong arm. He gets positively stereotyped for having a strong based on his height and build but his arm is nothing special. That's also another reason why he struggles under pressure. He doesn't have the arm strength to complete those tight throws. He played at Oregon in a spread offense against cupcake defenses and rarely faced pressure or tight coverage.

Tall big good looking guy with long hair that looks great on commercials. Everyone wants to look at him like he is Elway thus he is forgiven for his mediocre performances.
