With firing of Robert Saleh, this is perfect opportunity to end the Reddick saga for the Jets. Either they can sign him or do a trade now. Cards have contacted Jets previously about a trade, so stay tuned on this fast developing situation in NY.

Jets are still all in for getting their offense right. They have a top 5 defense right now. What if Cards trade Zay Jones to Jets for Reddick, this would be win win.

Aaron Rodgers needs weapons, Zay is quality possession receiver. Would really help that wr room. Cards are loaded in the wr, and we don’t really want to replace Dortch with Jones. Dortch is excellent slot option. Reddick could well tip the balance of power in the West to us. You know he will be angry and full of JG violence.

I’m all for getting Reddick back… when BJ went down for year and R Rob on 4 week IR our pass rush has been almost nonexistent. Reddick with a soon to be healthy Robinson back will help.
im not so delusional to think we will make the playoffs this year but I just want to compete and improve with hopes that 2026 we can make a run.

Probably going to want to trade for a guard too?

It seemed that Rallis finally figured out that blitzing can work in the game against the Niners. I was getting really tired of watching us rush only three against the Commanders and JD just picking us apart.
Offense guard is now a position of need for us and with D-Rob coming back I'm not sure Reddick is first option unless MO can put together a good deal for us.
Trading Jones for Reddick sounds really good, but who knows what the Jets owner is thinking. Rumor is that he met with Rogers privately and after that meeting fired Saleh without consulting anyone else in the front office. Nothing like emasculating your GM in front of the entire league.

Since 2020...Reddick has been on these teams...
Arizona Carolina Philadelphia New York(Jets) And possibly some other team if he continues to hold out...
Why can't he stick with a team? Just on that alone, I don't want him back here. For the Eagles to not have paid him what he is asking, must be because he is asking for a whole lot. So, should we pay a lot of money for a 30 year old Linebacker? Let's spend the money elsewhere.

www.si.com/nfl/cardinals/news/arizona-cardinals-still-connected-top-trade-target-haason-reddickAt some point we are going to hit the free agent spending spree phase of our rebuild, and that moment is coming soon. Next year, as we have $22.4 million (8th in NFL) available NOW in week 6 of 2024, and over $101 million (2nd in NFL) in effective cap space in 2025. Reddick is already listed as a top 5-10 free agent for 2025. Reddick at 30 still has wear on his tires. Reddick had his best seasons with Gannon and Rallis. This all comes down to 1) if Reddick has hard feelings for a Cards team that played him in the wrong position and then let him go in free agency, 2) how Gannon, Rallis and Bidwill view Reddick after their time together, and 3) does a large contract to a 30 year old OLB fit the timeline of the rebuild plan.

Reddick wants cash. He will most likely sign a 1-year contract with a team in the SB hunt by mid-season. After the contract expires, if he's happy with the team and likewise the team appreciates his services are a reasonable price, he will likely re-sign with that team.
If by some miracle the Cardinals rip off 5-6 wins in a row, then maybe Reddick will consider the Cardinals. Reddick is after the cash. Let's be clear about that objective.

Really, news to me Outside of Cardinals fans, I don't think any NFL GM or outside fan considers us to have weapons at wide receiver other than MHJ

www.nfl.com/news/haason-reddick-declined-one-year-offer-from-jets-amid-holdout13 Oct 4am: I saw this update on NFL.com early on Sunday. Reddick and the agency representing him for contract negotiations parted ways. Reddick now has no rep on record with the NFL. I assume Reddick will sign with another agent soon. Reddick's status with the Jets is unchanged. The team owns the rights to him. This week, the Jets' owner pleaded for Reddick to come in from the dark, sign with the team, and all would be forgiven. The HC was fired recently. That burr in Reddick's butt was removed. Reddick is now the odd man out in the NFL for 2024. He left $14 million on the table with the Jets this season, a team he refuses to play football for. Reddick and stands to lose a lot more money if he walks away from the game for 2024 and beyond. Gannon has said nothing about the former Eagles standout. That is a smart move. Ossenfort and Gannon must stay quiet. The Jets own Reddick's rights. This is a tricky situation for a potential suitor. The Cardinals and other teams must not say anything and can then avoid tampering fines.

He’s being sued by a business partner regarding a company he was in with his father. Some of the details of the suit are concerning.

I just read, I think on ESPN(?), that he just signed with the Rosenhaus(?) agency people? So, maybe something will happen with him now

I just read, I think on ESPN(?), that he just signed with the Rosenhaus(?) agency people? So, maybe something will happen with him now PHI wants a huge payback from the gaining team. Reddick wants a big contract. If the Cardinals sign Reddick, that will wipe out a huge chunk of FA dollars in 2025. And what will Reddick do for our Defense? That is a difficult question to answer. Reddick and Robinson working both edges would help but not solve the bigger problem...run defense.
