The Air Coryell Cards got over 1000 yds rushing out of their FB (Otis) in 1975, adding Metcalf with another 800 on the ground.
That was a good OL they had, guess the run can set up the pass.

The real thunder and lightning. Only back I ever saw that could do what Metcalf did was Barry Sanders. Only Barry was better doing it.

I don't care what the offense looks like. As long as it winds up with a W at the end of the game. That's the most important stat. The scoreboard result is my bottom line. All else is secondary at the end of the day. A few years back, I really looked forward to Warner leading the offense because I knew he could drive any group and score at TD almost at will. Those were the days! I'm not sure about McCoy and Bradford yet. The concept is right. Results are pending. We'll see what happens starting in September.

It shouldn't be to hard for McCoy to look back at Bradford's 3 best years & see what scheme's were used that made him successful. Then how it meshes with Wilk's vision.

If you're running a dunk and dink offense that gets a lot of first downs and breaks inside the 20 and we lose who cares. If we dominate TOP and field position and our D holds the opposition to less points and we win, love it.

A run first, short pass offense suits Sam, and will help him last. Rosen's quick release will also thrive in that scheme.

Scoring touchdowns, even if by only 4 yards at a time, is never boring.
Unless it's a team without a red bird or pitchfork on the helmet doing it.

Only two areas I care about. We have one of the top 5 scoring defenses and we have one of the top 5 scoring offenses. That folks will get you into the playoffs 95& 0f the time. The rest. How many yards we give up or gain is all just gravy. A lot of teams are good between the 20's. It's the ones who are the best in the red zone who go to the playoffs.

Right now, I'm not sure about anything related to Cardinals Offense. Too many unknowns there. Is this an 0-16 team, or a surprise 10-6 team, or maybe they are just good enough to make a playoff run late in the season? After about the 8th game, I think I'll have a good idea about McCoy and his Offense. I'm still thinking the Cardinals are just a .500 team thru mid-season. Beyond game 8, the team might become something special. Injuries will tell us more.

Arians second half, we went 6 and 2. It will take time for our totally new system, coaches, and personal to gel. We will need to be patient. Whatever happens, it will be different and therefore fun to watch.....well unless we really suck.... Go Cardinals
