I’ve read numerous posts on this board about trading out of the #4 spot…but for what??? If it’s Minnesota…what amounts to swapping first round picks and picking up another late round first rounder? So now you have (3) firsts instead of (2). Is it worth just that?
I think most posters on the forum are looking for 'extra' to the #11 and #23 picks from the Vikings. Whether this possibly could amount to another 1st-Rounder in 2025 I don't know, but perhaps they might offer the Cardinals #11, #23 and 2nd-Round 2025...? - What might people think on such an offer, would you take that?
I get that many are set on drafting Harrison 'come what may' and I respect people's opinion on this (For instance I have tried tempting flash off from the straight & narrow with some scenarios in the past, but he is 'not for turning' and I admire his steadfastness and fortitude).
I believe there will be some seriously talented players available #23, and I just wonder whether the 'worth of this pick' is being undervalued by some? - An 'extra' player along the lines of a Jackson Powers-Johnson (Guard), Zer'Zhan Newton (DL), Nate Wiggins (CB) or one of the several WR's likely to be on offer in this range (perhaps Brian Thomas Jr). - Just saying, the option for an additional first-rounder is not to be sneezed at.
Also, as mentioned before, there is the possibility of a Trade-Up from #11, so we may still be able to snag one the top-three ranked WR's.
Dev, you are persistent. Ha Ha Ha...
I have listened to your viewpoints and others on here, but I just don't agree with the viewpoints. Perhaps because our viewpoints all have valid points and until we see how the drafted players actually do at the NFL level, we won't know which viewpoints were correct. Just as until Marvin, Odunze and Nabers actually play at the NFL level, we won't know which player is better. However, it may not be a fair comparison once the arrive to the NFL...why? Marvin will be drafted either by us or the Chargers. With a very slight chance of the Patriots taking him. If he goes to the Patriots by some chance, it play will be affected by whoever they start at QB...but if they draft Marvin instead of a QB with their 3rd pick, they are going to be hurting for a QB.
If Marvin is drafted by us or the Chargers, he will have the QB to make him "SHINE".
Who would draft Odunze or Nabers? Titans? Giants? Those QB's as of now are Daniel Jones and Will Levis...hmm...would either WR be as good at the NFL level with either of those QB's? Hmm...I guess we have to wait and see on the WR's and the Viewpoints posted in the forum...
