Just like last week, I'm really nervous about this game. We took a huge step forward last week....was it just a fluke, or can we do it again? I sure hope so. All I can say, it sure would be sweet if we can win two in a row. It would give us fans, the pundits, and maybe most importantly, the team confidence the plan is working. Go Cardinals and make my day.... Texans are on a win streak. They have a great rookie coach to get this far already into the season. If we can beat them with Kyler then we are building brick by brick or player by player a new foundation. I dont want to have to draft a QB. We have too man other needs DT DT < is one area we need two of them. and an edge rusher that is good versus the run Calais Campbell type. He was not great at sacks but very good 9-12 a season but gereat vs the run, AND CBs Two good ones in the draft.

I was listening to NFL.Radio on SIRRUX XM on Friday afternoon at about 1130 a.m. ET. The two guys provide their best guesses each week on which teams will win games on Sunday and Monday night. Last week, the two guys were wrong on 7 games. For pro's, that's awful. The 'pro's' were embarrassed. They said so. Surprises happen, sometimes in bunches!
The 'pro's' picked the Texans to beat the Cardinals Sunday. Their rationale: The Texans are hot, they have momentum, and Stroud is good, and the team has depth. The Cardinals lack similar depth and struggle to be consistent for 60 minutes. The return of Kyler Murray is a major factor in elevating the Cardinals offense, but he alone is not enough to overcome the team's many roster shortfalls.
I agree. The Texans are better positioned to win Sunday. The Houston fans are behind the team. The stadium will be super noisy. JJ Watt might be on the sidelines too. I see that he's active around the city again. Good for him.

Cardinals are surprisingly healthy coming into this game while the Texans have 2 safeties and 2 LB's definitely out along with probably their best WR being out. Additionally Will Anderson suddenly appeared on their injury list late in the week. I believe KM1-Hollywood connection will be much better and with the middle of the Texans defense not healthy ... look for McBride to have another monster game.
Texans and Stroud are getting a LOT of attention this past week (deservingly so) but my experience is when teams/players get a huge bump up in attention is about time their focus wanes and a "clunker" of a game occurs. Fans in Houston are talking about the demise of Bengals (Burrow), Browns (Watson) and Ravens (TE Andrews) increasing their expectations of the Texans making a run in the playoffs.
Cards secondary has been much better with addition of CB Garrett Williams and if WR Collins is out for the Texans, the matchup between Williams vs. their slot receiver Tank Dell will be a key for the Cards.
P.S. Also the Texans recently acquired a new kicker (Ammendola) so that could be a sneaky difference as well.

All very good points...the games inside the game sometimes don't get the attention they deserve but make a huge difference when the ball is snapped for individual plays and next players up (backups) must execute the plays. I don't see the Texans focus drifting on them. They are so used to losing that suddenly winning is like a high from a drug and they want more of that feeling. The Texans don't have a that sorry punk attitude like some of the Cowboys and 49ers players when they play 'lower rung' teams.

I saw the title, "Chapter 11," and the first idea that popped into mind was Bankruptcy Court. I know that was not the videographer's intent. He wants to have Baker looking at a 3-ring binder and studying. Are other players also studying? I hope we're all past the 2022 off-season and the QB contract sentences by now. I am. "Chapter 12" has a better look.

Weird how the rookie is so valuable in this WR room. Who steps up?

Weird how the rookie is so valuable in this WR room. Who steps up? Personally, I've had about a gutfull of Dortch bein' relegated to strictly ST return duties. I would submit that he and McBride could put a shine on Kyler's efforts today.

Can TE Higgins be used as an H-back type though he needs to catch the ball ? McBride might get 12-13 targets today ... screens to Michael Carter ? I would also say without multiple LB's and Safeties, you could see James Conner getting 20 touches today and McBride a LOT of targets.

Yeah, I get it, but out of those 3 short WRs there is only one Greg Dortch. He is the James Conner of the WR room.
