Thanks for this link FLCF. I'm sure Mr. Kingsbury has nothing but glowing reviews about Bidwill and the AZ. Cardinals organization for Caleb Williams.

Caleb, seems to say the right things. We will see how his season, the Cards and the Texan’s seasons goes. Offense may get first draft pick two years in a row.

I’ll be watching Caleb and Kyler closely. Kyler still has the better college stats, let’s see what each do this year.

Now…by no means am I putting KM in this category…JUST YET…but these next (2) years…one to fully recover from ACL surgery and the next to play at a high level again… for this young man will define his place in history as either an NFL proven quality starting QB or a high draft bust. To me…QBs with more then (1) year starting experience at the College level…are geared to greater success at the NFL level…simply because they’ve seen and experienced more valid game day reps…which helps bread the maturity they need to play the position at a higher level.

Sam Bradford was pretty good in college too. Comparing the best year with Kyler, both played for Oklahoma:
Kyler Best Year: TD: 42 INT: 7 YDS: 4361 PCT: 69%
Sam Best Year: TD: 50 INT: 8 YDS: 4720 PCT: 67%
Though I will say Kyler rushed for over 1000 yards in that same year. But yeah, college stats dont mean much in the NFL. It just hypes you for draft purposes. Tim Tebow was a "God" in college.

Agree to a point, but I do look at things like completion percentage alongside yards per attempt, and Kyler wins those categories. And Kyler came out his rookie year with an Offensive Rookie of the Year performance, followed by two Pro Bowl performances. We know a lot more about what Kyler can do at the NFL level than we do about Caleb.

Team wins and losses mean a lot more to me and the guys that win Lombardi Trophies. Who gets voted the media and fan favorite means absolutely nothing, except for contract incentive payments and maybe a few dates with hot gals. About KW, who knows what he can and cannot do. I think he will do well after his rookie year. That guy in JAX is starting to impress now that he's rid of that cancer HC and over his first 2 years.

It's all about how a prospect projects in the NFL. Lot of little guys can dominate college football but they don't always find that level of success in the NFL.
Caleb has the attributes that NFL scouts drool over. Doesn't mean he's a lock to dominate the NFL but the odds are he will if he keeps going the way he is.
And all these guys want that number #1 overall status. He'd gladly play for the Cardinals.

Kyler Murray was an MVP candidate thru half of the 2021 season. He is a real NFL QB talent. Caleb Williams is coached by the same guy. Lincoln Riley. Williams will win the 2023 Heismann unless he's injured at some point this season. K1 went from a great coach in college, to a proven losing coach in Kingsbury. Watching as many USC games as I did last year, I'm moving on from Kyler Murray if Williams is available and willing to play for the Cardinals.

It's a valid point and I brought that up multiple times with Matt Leinart. Bunch of overrated losers. But it's limited thinking to eliminate a possible elite QB based on that assumption. You have to do your homework. Times change.
