The Rams did just enough to get by v. the Falcons on Sunday. The LA based announcers for the game said as much. The announcer's tone reflected concern about the LAR defensive group which was exploited by a patched up Falcons offense with no QB Matt Ryan. The Rams offense is potent. WR #10 Kupp was crazy good again. Stafford was average as usual.
McVay is the man to beat. Kingsbury has to find a way to end the home team loss string at 6 next Sunday. We also all know that NFC West Division games are the hardest. I expect a few severe injuries to players, a fight or two, and maybe a surprise Cardinals win.

Sadly ugly returns for this game. In fact if I were coach Kingsbury I already have a plan in the back of my mind where if the game was out of hand in the second quarter I'm pulling kyler Murray out of the game. It'll be interesting to see what the spread is for this one but I'm expecting a blow out by the Rams.

Rams look at the Cardinals as little insolent children they need to smack around.

Rams players definitely will not show an overconfident attitude at SFS on Sunday. All HCs saw what happened when 3 teams relaxed with leads last weekend. BAM! A big LOUIE hits them in the face. McVay will be ready for Kingsbury. The former always is.
I don't expect another Cardinals miracle Sunday. Definitely not v. the Rams. But I would sure like to see more of that Cardinals energy and execution that we saw in the second half at LVR last weekend. I'm including KK in the uptick in team execution. His staff has serious comms problems. No more deadheading allowed.

A win like that can propel a team to the next level. It can also just be a fluke. We're going to find out really soon. I prefer to be optimistic and Believe we get over the hump and take down the Rams.

I know this will appear to some reading as a crazy thought but if anyone knows personnel in the front office or the team, there is a very important SIMPLE thing K2 must start doing ESPECIALLY against the Rams. Someone need to tell K2 it is VITAL he does this simple thing which is to COVER HIS MOUTH with the play sheet when making play call .. he is the only coach I see which doesn't hold up the play sheet to at least mouth-level. As a background, there are several articles (many by the Boston Globe) which discuss how Bill Belichick has a "rain man' photographic memory coach on his staff named Ernie Adams. Adams doesn't have a football background but his "rain man-like" abilities is why SPYGATE ever became football lexicon. Former Patriots coach Mancini (HC of the Jets) caught the Pats with a camera at the top of the stadium getting formation views of every play -- of course Mancini knew the Pats do this because he was on Belichick's staff (BTW: ever wonder why assistant/coordinator coaches under Belichick rarely succeed?? During Spygate-era teams used to just signal in defensive signals via hand signals or analog communication on the type of defense to run and Mr. Ernie Adams photographic memory at halftime could memorize the signal given and compare them to the photo shots taken during 1st half. So in the 2nd half he can stand next to Belichick and tell him once the hand signal was given from the other sideline and be able to tell Bill EXACTLY what defense the opponent would be in. Pretty easy for BB to give TB the signal and get an audible to take advantage of this "inside" information. Who is Ernie Adams and what does he do for the Pats?Well the NFL in investigating SPYGATE (2007-2008) over the next few years went to the GREEN DOT digital communications system in 2012 so this kind of thing couldn't continue. Fast forward now to photographic memory Sean McVay who could easily match up a lip reader of K2 previous games with the verbage for an offensive play. McVay then studies film for each play run by the Cards and his photo-memory could match up the play call to the exact play run by the offense. That would be quite an advantage. Of course this could be done also against the DC of teams but VJ is pretty good at covering up his mouth when he provides the communication to the Green Dot player. Here is how good Sean McVay's photgraphic memory is - Coach Sean McVay remembers EVERY play he called in 2017
If you don't think McVay is capable of doing this when working with a lip reader and gain the biggest advantage over the Cardinals, then I guess it also isn't hot in Phx in the summer. I even wonder if other teams are doing a variation of this AND this is the reason for K2's 2nd half collapses.

I even wonder if other teams are doing a variation of this AND this is the reason for K2's 2nd half collapses. Putting any more stuff on KK's plate during playcalling could cause him to get every play into the QB late. We suspect KK's memory is not that good. I also doubt KK is going to cover his mouth with the play sheet because then he can't read what he needs to pass to the QB. Meanwhile, McVay is lipreading.
