What say you mods? I mean, our Cards are in dark times. Can we let some Sun in?
A healthy Booker, Paul, Ayton, AND new Sun Kevin Durant! We have a legit chance for an AZ championship team!

Thanks man! It never hurts to ask, unless the person you’re asking is your spouse!

If the Suns play good defense the team will win most games. The Suns shooting is not the problem. It's always a lollygagging defense that kills a playoffs team. Go Suns!
Full disclosure: I am a recovering Spurs fan since 1979.

Go Sun's! Game 1 was tough to take, they were more fired up in game 2, and hopefully they'll take that into LA, then come home and wrap this series up.
In a similar spirit, I'd like to call attention to the young D'Backs team doing so well right now, despite predictions, and through extra effort. While I don't expect our young/mixed Cardinals team to win a bunch, I hope that by playing hard they'll make the season a good one, win, lose or draw.

Oh man, Suns will most likely lose against the Clippers. The amount of energy the Suns starters had to exert last night just to pull away late in the game. The bench is just atrocious for the Suns. The Clippers came into this series prepared. The type of defense they have thrown at the Suns, the Suns just have no clue. Even after game 1, the Suns adjusted and the Clippers were able to STILL confuse them with even more different defensive rotations. People always talk about Booker and Durant, but the key has always been Ayton. If he could play at the level he is suppose to consistently, this Suns team would dominate. Because every team will go after Durant and Booker, but then they have Ayton who is great at pick and rolls and can shoot. Any team would be thin after handling Booker, Durant and even CP3, so Ayton should be dominating. He was dominating when they made it to the finals a couple of years back and that is the key again.

What teams love to do is shoot 3's from almost half court lol But seriously, the Suns only allowed 109 points. Thats pretty low in todays NBA. The Clippers played bully ball in game 1 and early in game 2 and Suns were too sensitive for that. Finally they came out of that sensitive bubble and played some good defense of their own. But still a lot of issues, especially rebounding. Westbrook was owning CP3 down low for offensive rebounds. Just so weird to see the difference between the NBA when I was heavily into it, the 1990's, vs today. Today, if a player decides to drive to the basket, the defender usually ends up allowing them to go by for a layup. Back in the 90's that same person would get tossed to the ground on a hard foul. No easy buckets was always the motto back then in the 1990's playoffs. You could throw fists and be a fine at most... These days if you look at the ref the wrong way they T you up. Its crazy.

Yep, the game changed a lot the last 20 years. Kids coming into the NBA now have arms like NFL QBs and throw balls from half-court expecting 3s every time. It's a joke. A few nights ago, a guy hit just 3 of 18 shots. The announcers said he's still a good shooter. Huh?

Leonard not playing for Clips tonight. Ruled out by the coach. His absence will help your Suns -- if your guys play defense!

Leonard not playing for Clips tonight. Ruled out by the coach. His absence will help your Suns -- if your guys play defense! When I read that post, I already knew they won. Sure it was closer than you hoped, but people have to realize this Suns team is still new. Their main franchise piece has only played 11 games now, clearly not enough for the coaches to figure out the best rotations and clearly not enough time to gel in a playoff take all scenario. I mean just look, Durant is currently the second best player on this Suns team. I watched the game last night and saw Durant out of place, I saw people standing around watching Durant and not coming to the ball to help him when he was doubled. The same issue happened when Lebron went to the Heat. Everyone stood around and watched, but after half a season or more, they figured it out and went on that run. Once the Suns get firing on all cylinders, probably wont happen until next season, Durant and Booker will be equals lifting each other up. Then obviously once they fix that rotation issue and get some depth I see them taking it next season. Gonna be hard now though, too early. Durants ankle injury really came at the worst time.

Suns win! 3-1 and coming home for game 5. Very nice taking two in L.A., and they continue to gel with KD.

Clippers fans once again saying their team would be crushing the suns without missing their best players. Yes they are missing their star players but it's happening pretty much every year. The clippers need to make some tough decisions because it's just not working with George and Leonard. Even with load management they can't stay healthy. Suns meanwhile taking advantage. Don't care how they get back to the finals. Just want to see the suns win a friggin championship. Lord knows cardinals won't be near one anytime soon

We didn’t have Book or Paul for much of the season, and barely got a few regular season games out of KD. They are literally learning to play together before our eyes in the playoffs. Clippers have no excuses.
