I just saw the Final score flash on the screen. 4-win season for the Cardinals.
I am on NFL Red Zone and watching the fans at GB have a fit when the SEA FG kicker hit the right upright on a kick to win the game. DET is alive!

So…is the 3rd overall pick and the 35th pick enough to entice Payton?

And more valuable picks when you suck. Hasn't worked in 80 yrs...but maybe next year is it..lol 2008 we went to a SB should have won it but we had a hall of fame Qb that got us there and some good draft picks on that team.

And more valuable picks when you suck. And when you draft a couple spots higher, and you still suck....then what. There so many more important other things you can do to be successful than moving 2 spots in the draft. Concentrate on that. 2008 we had a lot guys on that team that were drafted by the cardinals and a hall of fame Qb leading the team.

You are right, we did have a lot of draft picks on our team that year that did pretty well. Still, look at this....2008 roster and their draft spot. There are only two that were chosen higher than #6, One, you could almost say was worth tanking for ( Larry Fitzgerald ), the other, decent even good at times but never lived up to a 5th overall pick. My point is, moving up a couple of spots up on the draft charts guarantees you nothing. Doing due diligence on drafts prospects is far more import. For whatever reason, lately, we seem to do that poorly.

This is a totally frivolous post. After seeing the Chiefs Raiders game and the now infamous "Snow Globe play". I took the time to make an animated GIF hoping to use it at just the right time during this game. Knowing it might be a dismal day, I was hoping to add a little humor to make things a little better saying something like we need to do this now....lol...Here is to my efforts that I never got to use.

Unless you got picks from another team. There are no guarantees you are right but we know that well but I rather be at #3 then 5th or 6th position or later.
