Just my last thoughts on this game. There was literally only a play or two to cheer about. I hate it and this message board is going to be in a dark place this week and probably weeks to come. This is not fun to see most everyone throwing up their hands and saying we are the worst. I still have a little hope, but they are starting to lose me as well. I'm as big a homer as there is, if they lose me....there won't be anyone left....lol. Still if my only criteria for following my Cards were having a competent team that wins more than loses, I would have moved on years ago. We are what we are, and I will cheer and root for them no matter what. Perhaps this is not a popular opinion, but I'm way too old to switch teams now. I'm going to dance with who brought me....meaning, it was the Cardinals that first got me interested in NFL football. I regret nothing.

It's not his worst game at all. The fact that people can think it is.. that's why we are in this mess this year. People just went la la la and pretended that playoff game never happened, and y'all are still doing it. In a few weeks youll pretend this one didn't happen too Zero idea what you’re going on about but please continue. Its just not his worst game by any stretch.
One that is easy to remember is the playoff game last year, honestly, do you really not remember that?
C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT SACKS QBR RTG Kyler Murray 19/34 137 4.0 0 2 2-15 9.9 40.9
It was way way worse in every way. Forgetting this game or pretending it doesn't exist does not just "happen", but yet so many did it, including Dave Pasch of all people. This is akin to what happens when people who have trauma block out a memory, but doing so contributes to it being repeated.

K2 is lost as a play caller without the dude.

I would rather see a journey QB like McCoy finish our season out, and one of our other coaches take over, then head toward another rebuild with a new coach. Interesting suggestion about promoting McCoy to starter. My thinking as well. McCoy won't turn it around for the Offense. The benefit is that Murray is on the sideline fulltime with plenty time to think about how he prepares, how he plays the game, and his responsibility for this mess. The cameras are on his face. Humiliation is not a good antidote for most pro athletes. But the message has to be sent: DO YOUR JOB.

Thanks, friend. My nerves are shot after this game. Just don't know what to say about the Cardinals. I remember other bad teams from the early 2000 era. Total rebuilds followed. We’re not as bad as that. The D is actually quite good. Prater is a money kicker and there aren’t many around. The OL needs an upgrade this off-season. The WRs aren’t getting separation. I do think some of the lack of separation is play calling. Some of it is an insistence on going downfield without an adequate OL. Some injuries have been very unfortunate. Consider that our D has shut down top WRs. We shouldn’t have to have a hall of fame WR to win, but it helps. Optimism is in short supply around here. Keep it coming, please!

I think most members are here and supporting the team because of their exceptionally strong will that is applied to many facets of living. How else can I explain Cardinals fan dedication? No answer needed. Thanks for being you.

I won't disagree with you at all on these numbers from the Playoff fiasco. I will only say that I think Pasch was only referring to regular season games. But since I could only listen to the game I might have missed the reference point. Yes that Playoff game K1 was playing Very Scared. I really think he thought Donald might end his career back then. So that is another point against K1 that he will need to overcome. Maybe WR Robbie Anderson (newest Cardinal WR) will help K1 get back into form?

Fell in Love with the Cards in the fall of '68 (we lived 50 miles from St. Louis back then). Been dancing with them ever since. I do dance with KC from time to time too. But Not as much as the Cardinals. Both were Missouri Teams I grew up with. Real hurt when they moved to AZ, but I did not abandon them. Nor did I ever cozy up to the Rams when they were in St. Louis. Any way Keep on Dancin' cause when you stop you fade away.

I hope so, I do think there is hope for Murray to have success in the NFL for as long as he has his amazing quickness. I think it will take a special offensive scheme designed by someone very intelligent to do that though.
