Source: www.nfl.com/news/nfl-roundup-latest-league-news-from-monday-nov-8The Arizona Cardinals will have to lean on James Conner out of the backfield for at least the next three weeks. Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds is feared to have suffered a high-ankle sprain, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Edmonds will undergo an MRI on Monday to confirm the injury, which could land him on injured reserve. Edmonds could miss 4-6 weeks with the sprain. Edmonds suffered the injury on the first play on Arizona's 31-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. He was spelled by Conner, who blasted off for 173 total yards and three TDs on 26 touches. Eno Benjamin also got some run in Edmonds' wake, carrying the ball nine times for 39 yards. It's another offensive loss for Arizona, which entered its Week 9 contest without starting quarterback Kyler Murray and receivers DeAndre Hopkins and A.J. Green. The Cardinals (8-1) should have at least Murray and Hopkins back for their Week 10 game against the Carolina Panthers, but Arizona likely won't have Edmonds back until Week 13 or later.

I think this team can handle the temporary loss of Edmonds. As a fan, I'm most interested in this team being healthy come playoff time.
In the meantime, I'm confident in a Connor-Benjamin duo. The running schemes seems to work well regardless of who's in the backfield.

I think Eno is a key part duel RB threat as it keeps the D thinking & it more importantly I believe it puts less wear & less chance of injury on Connor. Which naturally increases the chances of more explosive plays from him.

What if they used Rondale Moore with some RB play's? Did Rondale Moore even have a rush last night? Probably a different game plan with McCoy than the Hatfields. Had to throw that in there. LOL

What if they used Rondale Moore with some RB play's? Eno and Rondale are both rookies and I seem to remember one of them costing us a win against Green Bay. There is no reason for us to lean on them too heavily and potentially ding their confidence when they make typical rookie mistakes.

Technically Eno is not a rookie as this is his 2nd year here but because of Covid I would say he is in his rookie year since there was no training camp last year. Just like I consider this to be Isaiah Simmons rookie year because of the same no training camp last year. Also it has been reported that Chase had an MRI this morning and is out 3-4 weeks. On a side note San Francisco right tackle Mike McGlinchey suffered a quad injury and is out for the rest of the season. Hate to see that and wish him a speedy recovery.

We play the Panthers at home, the Seahawks away, have a bye week and then play the Bears away. All manageable games and plenty of time for Chase to heal up.
