Does anyone else notice the improvement in our run defense? What is the main factor for that? Dont say Jordan Phillips because he still doesnt play in over 50 % of the snaps.

According to Urban, Joseph drummed up a 4-4-3 D to stuff the run game of the 9ers. Not sure what he changed to after the Cards rung up enough points to make them drop the run-heavy scheme.

Well kyler does look a lot like Shirley temple..lol.. Not to ruin aris thread here but maybe we should go back to doing look-a-likes again. That was always funny. Agreed....sorry we lost focus..lol...just so happy with Shirley and Howdy I'm giddy

That could be. I think a big difference also is that we don't respect Jimmy Garoppolo as a passer.

Jimmy is a big part of why the 9ers utilize the run game as much as they do. He's still a pretty good QB though. Vance Joseph deserves a LOT of credit for the W though. Dialing up the 4-4-3, teaching CPR, (Club, Punch, Rip) at the elbow, or the ball, while tackling. If 3 Card defenders are converging on a WR or a RB, SOMEBODY is doing everything possible to dislodge the ball.
