The major sports media talking heads finally agree this Monday morning that the Cardinals are a very good team on both offense and defense, on special teams, the coaching staff, and now the NFC standings. The 8-1 Cardinals are legit. The 8 wins are not flukes, luck, etc. All wins are hard-earned. No wins are gifts. And all but 1 win (17-10 vs SF) were dominating performances. As much as it grinds some NFL primetime schedulers, the Cardinals are sitting alone in the NFC driver's seat today. In fact, the Cardinals have the best NFL record.
The one Cardinals team area the sports media is struggling: learning the names of the mysterious Cardinals players. Examples: when #26 RB Eno Benjamin (5'9", 207 lbs) 'trucked' Ram's CB Dre Fitzpatrick; when #13 WR Christian Kirk option passed to #85 TE Antoine Wesley (6'4", 206 lbs). The color guy said, "He's good." Who is good, what's his name? Yeah sure, Eno, Kirk, and Tony are very good. Pay attention, talking heads. Do your homework.
Pay attention indeed. The Cardinals now have NFL attention. America wants to see more Cardinals "Red Sea." Boy oh boy, so do I. I look for some of the remaining 8 games to be moved to primetime nightgame slots. America is learning that there is a very good team out west and not located in CA or WA.

If anything, we deserve better coverage than Sanchez and his buddy. They did not do any homework...kept repeating simple things due to lack of prep.

Like a nervous tick or stutter. We know Sanchez is on his knees every time a CA team is in front of him. He can't help himself.

Don't get me started on Sanches. He is about as good announcer as he was a QB. Which wasn't very good.

These guys were so bland because they were so unprepared. but does that really surprise you? Sanchez's professional history is littered with evidence of being unprepared.

On the note of National Coverage. I hardly care about that. It would be such bland generalizations I couldnt stand it. Most guys on here would entertain me more and be 10X more insightful.
The only good thing about being this good is we're probably going to be flexed in a couple of weeks for the Seattle game.

Don't get me started on Sanches. He is about as good announcer as he was a QB. Which wasn't very good. He will forever always be remembered for the butt fumble. Even his colleagues joked with about it on NFL Fox. Said NO Ifs ands or ..... and let Sanchez finish the rest of it joking with him.

Especially if they lose next week to Green Bay. I personally hope they beat the Packers but worry because Seattle can always catch fire just want us to remain in the #1 seed and get the playoff bye but right now we are only talking about the Kitties. 1-0 this week.

The Panthers have always made us look whenever we have played them in Carolina. We are due some payback this coming Sunday.

Not yet clear if Rodgers will go against Wilson on Sunday. If Love plays, Seattle will pound Green Bay. Rodgers still has to clear all COVID protocols by Saturday. He does not have to travel this week, if cleared. SEA is @ GB. But Rodgers also cannot be anywhere near the Packers facilities mid-week or even on Saturday -- to game plan and practice; the former can be done virtually, the latter cannot be in person.
