KK needs to force extended rest, especially with a bye week coming up in 3 weeks. McCoy should be able to win 2 out of the next 3. This decision is simple for me. Would you rather:"
1. Get to the playoffs, as a lower seed, yet have Kyler at full strength? 2. Keep your higher seed in the playoffs, yet likely have Kyler not available in the playoffs?
I'd also force Hopkins and everyone else seriously hurt to follow same rest pattern. Sad part is, I mentioned trading for Nick Foles a couple of weeks ago when he was cheap. An Isabella for Foles swap. Now, I bet the price gets driven up

Yep, as I said several times, too much is put on KM back. Last year he was asked to do too much, he got hurt and the season went sour. Hopefully this team does not go down the same path...

Let’s hope the Green debacle doesn’t become the difference of winning the division or getting in the playoffs. I also agree rest d-hop as well.

He'll play. just tape it up and limit his running. Enough of this rest B.S. , just tape/spit ready to roll.

He'll play. just tape it up and limit his running. Enough of this rest B.S. , just tape/spit ready to roll. This is football. During a 17 game season there are going to be bumps and bruises. Look at Baker Mayfield today playing against the Steelers with a bum shoulder and takes a vicious hit out of bounds. Pops back up and signals first down and does it like as a matter of factly in your face. You gotta toughen up. I mean back in the olden days you had defensive players play with 2 broken arms and still get an interception. Sound familiar?

I say take him out until after the bye week. That's a solid 4 and a half weeks of rest and recovery time. There's still 6 more weeks of the regular season after the Cardinal's bye, basically a fresh start. The reason I feel this way about Kyler isn't because I think he's injury prone, but because he's nursing more than just an ankle injury.
Think about it, Kyler will be the freshest feeling starting QB going into the final third of the season. That's a huge advantage. This ankle injury might be a blessing in disguise as long as the Cardinals can win 1 or 2 of the next 3.

Lets see how K1 is after this 10 day mini bye week rolls out. No need to go off the deep end on this. And there is a lot of waffling about JJ Watts injury too. May not need surgery either. By His Stripes we are healed!

I used my own eyes and saw KM wince after the tackle, and then move on. He's dinged, yes, but damaged for a week to almost a month? LA Rams wish so. Perhaps so does many sports toadies in the left coast.
Gimme a break. We fans will NOT jump off bridges because some jack-wad writer named Glazer thinks KM has a 1-3 week type sprain. He's not Dr. Glazer by the way. He did not evaluate the player. He's just some dude with a set of eyeballs and a keyboard, pedaling his drivel, and getting into ARZ fan's heads.
Let's wait to mid-week.

The way I see it.....we hired a veteran QB to back up Kyler for a reason. So I say use him for next game against the 9ers and allow Kyler to heal with less risk. If a back up QB can hold his own against Tampa Bay then why couldn't we against the 9ers.

Backups won’t for the Jets, Saints and Cowboys today alone. It’s not ideal but it’s not an automatic loss either. If he can play, let him play. If not, keep the 1-0 mentality and go out there and beat the 49ers.
