The Glass Is Completely Full! We lost to a good team it wasn't like we lost to the Texans, Dolphins or Jaguars but we lost to a good team the Packers. It is a long season as we still have 9 more games and we will go 1-0 each week. That was the problem with this week it started on Sunday and ends on Saturday so we should have been focusing on going 2-0 this week but nevertheless on the bright side we are still undefeated on regular season Sunday games. I don't think any can claim that title other than us. In closing I leave you with this motivational speech from Bluto on Animal House!

Yep, Im ok that they lost and Im probably the most negative on here. We knew they would eventually lose a game. Its just funny how we act, including myself. I think back to how bad the Cardinals would be right now in past years and here we are upset at 7-1. Naa, Im good.

After the Suns start to the season and this game I need 10 days off. I however do not want to wait that long to root against the Packers. Their fans comments have created an enemy for life.
How soon they forget the damage we did to them in the playoffs twice. I’m ready for the trifecta.
*wait, sorry, was this only for positivity? If so, ignore the above and GO CARDS!

It's no secret how down I've been on skinny..but it would be sacrilegious to bash a 7-1 coach at this point Unless we suddenly let the 9rs whip us next week...we are for real....we will make Green Bay pay big time...we will send the Beatnik to hell in the playoffs...so it is written...so it shall be..guaranteed

If you're going to lose a game, it might as well be on Thursday night and the day after you hear your best defensive player goes down for the season. Now the players have plenty of time to lick their wounds and come out swinging against the next opponent.

I was resigned to defeat as the Packers were about to go up by 10 late in the game.
The defense stood up and stopped them, what a boost of emotion that gave us.
K1 took the offense right down the field has he has done many times this year.
Then it happened. Hit me quite hard as we had Rodgers on the ropes for real.
Aaron knows it.

Smitty, You summary says it all. The Packers team and fans all know that they stole a win at TNF with a fluke twist of luck at the end of the game. Rodgers grim face on the sideline during "The Drive" told me that he knew what was coming and he could do nothing to stop it. Then Green happened. The Packers know well what the Cardinals are feeling today, since they felt the same painful stings at the 3 previous games. If the Cardinals had the Packers on the schedule again in two weeks, I guarantee the Packers faithful would not want that body bag game. The two teams should meet again in January. I know that game will end differently. PutMeIn

I don't care about the loss. I am concerned we aren't going to learn from the loss. On offense, we need to do more to establish the run particularly the inside running game with Connor. We need to put Kyler in situations to limit hits on him such as calling shorter passes that allow him to get the ball out quickly and develop his rhythm. On defense, you know teams are going to run at us, so maybe you rotate defensive linemen to keep them fresh aka SEC style. In the past, our coaches were in denial and keep repeating the same mistakes and claiming it was "poor execution"

I know that game will end differently. PutMeIn That is being in denial and that's not the attitude we need. The Packers could argue the same thing. They could say it was a fluke that we stopped at them at the goal line and didn't score at the end. If they lost, they would argue they gave the game away. We legitimately lost that game because we were outcoached on both offense and defense. The defense couldn't stop the run all day or Green Bay's short passing game. On offense, we didn't establish the run, which would have led to longer possessions and kept our defense more fresh. It shouldn't have come down to that drama at the end. Good football teams and especially ones contending for a championship don't play like that. We were out of sync all day and were playing hero ball at the end to come back.
They owned us. The reality is we got lax and assumed we could just do to the Packers what we did to other teams. The Packers coaching staff was smarter than that. They game planned as and beat us. They didn't let Rodgers sit back there and throw downfield knowing that plays into our defense's hands. They ran at us and threw short passes. The defnese never adjusted. On offense, we abandoned the run early. We didn't try to be physical and run at their defense with Connor which would have led to more passing opportunities. We got lazy
