The most dangerous after the catch There is no antidote for WR speed. WR Gray proved it many, many times. I still wonder what WR Metcalf could do for the Cardinals offense today. Certainly he would do more than that other #2 pick does.

You and I think alike. You made your avatar Mel Gray. I made my avatar Terry Metcalf. I don't think either one of us think they were the best ever, just our personal favorites. What's kind of ironic, they both played at the same time and was part of one of the greatest offenses ever. Back then, we didn't have the best defense, but we could score on anyone. I remember Mel Gray playing for Dan Devine at Mizzou in the late 60's.
Quite a track star there, burning speed.
I grew up in Columbia, enjoyed watching several MU stand outs go on to play for the Big Red. Johnny Roland, Gray, Roger Wehrli just to name a few.
