Maxx is big team guy, he will be missed. But, SK picking up Ertz has to pickup the moral in the locker room. Team knows we are serious about not only West but a big SB run. It adds a little extra juice in your step. Ertz will certainly come in here like a new born Christian on fire! The locker room AND Card's fan know that Bidwill & Keim are now 'all-in' for this 2021 season. The 'Boys from the Desert' are serious about winning the Lombardi trophy. Helluva trade Cardinal Brass!

The one thing I liked about the fans on the Eagles forums it that they are glad that Zach is going to a CONTENDER.
Nice to see other fans seeing us that way. Hope we don't dissappoint them.

Not a fan of this trade. Ertz is old and broken. Hopefully they saw enough on Gowen to realize he wasn’t going to cut it. But Keim usually gets the better of the trades. Guess we’ll see.

"Obviously I'm extremely excited to be going to the Arizona Cardinals (and) play with a team that's rolling right now and (to) just be able to add my skill set to that team. (I'm) ecstatic about that situation and (I'm) just looking forward to getting it going in that building and showing the type of player I am, the work ethic I am with no expectation, (I) just want to win football games."

Announced by Adam Schefter and reported on 98.7 -- Ertz for 5th rounder and Tay Gowan P.S. How does this impact the cap ?? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tay_Gowanwww.spotrac.com/nfl/philadelphia-eagles/tay-gowan-72607/www.spotrac.com/nfl/arizona-cardinals/zach-ertz-12316/CB Tay Gowan's trade cost to the Eagles is marginal. Tay Gowan signed a 4 year, $3,610,708 contract with the Arizona Cardinals, including a $130,708 signing bonus, $130,708 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $902,677. In 2021, Gowan will earn a base salary of $476,667, while carrying a cap hit of $476,666. He's cheap to keep. I am puzzled why PHI accepted Gowan in order to close the deal. He has a very thin resume. TE Zach Ertz trade cost to the Cardinals is potentially substantial if the 2022 5th rounder proves a major contributor--we'll never know. Ertz contract cost to the cap is $5.6M, or about $5M more than Gowan cost to have sitting on the bench, or inactive week to week. Zach Ertz signed a 5 year, $42,500,000 contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, including a $8,000,000 signing bonus, $21,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $8,500,000. In 2021, Ertz will earn a base salary of $5,666,667, while carrying a cap hit of $5,666,667 and a dead cap value of $5,666,667. After the Cleveland trip, Ertz will play the remaining 11 games of the Cardinals 2021 schedule. He is a free agent next winter.

He is a free agent next winter. $5.6 million contributing on the field is money spent better than $500k on the bench or practice squad. Wilson won the double-dipping hedged bet at CB in the draft, so I’m only concerned with the 5th we gave up plus the cap spent on Ertz.

Just stated on ESPN that he's not eligible to play Sunday. He's flying to Cleveland to hook up with coaches over the playbook, but that's it. You got my hopes up now I'm sitting here in a corner feeling down and out and dejected. Gonna have to find me a new idol on this board (LOL!). FLCF is your idol Dont you forget it
I played tight end and I was a kicker Highschool 6'3 240 lbs now then 205 lbs good hands better than Isabella and Strong kicking leg When I get done running my 40 yard dash I'll call you later on this evening. I want a tryout my 1pm -3 pm 40 was my best of the day LOL Well that settles that......LOL!

Well that settles that......LOL! Here is what you get if you draft me as a kicker How in the heck do you beat the #4 team in the nation the week before to have such a poor showing this week to an unranked team that is without their star player because he now plays for us (Rondale Moore).

At first I wasn’t to thrilled about this trade. But like I said Keim usually gets the better on trades I’m thinking this will be another good trade.
