The most questionable officiating call in last night's game imo was allowing the 2nd punt to stand after the Seattle punter's 1st attempt was blocked. How do they not stop to review that? It was an impressive recovery by the punter and his effort was admirable, but he was past the LOS when he booted it the 2nd time.

That was indeed the first re-punt I have ever seen in my lifetime going back to mid- 20th century. I have watched a whole lot of pee-wee through pro football along the way, but that re-punt last night takes the cake for both imagination and success. I think there was a HQ NFL review and the decision was that the kicker's back foot was near the LOS. That's what I heard someone say on a network early today. Apparently there is no rule on kicking twice or even a third time by anyone on the kicking team if the attempts are blocked or the punter just misses kicking the ball with his foot. Every week it seems that we see something new in pro football that we have never seen before it actually happens and is recorded. I'm reasonably sure that much of this weird stuff already happened in yesteryear games, but no one made or kept a record. Want to watch a genuine punt whiff?
