I just want to say, this thread or threads was a good idea. There may only be 6 or 7 seven members here, but we have 81 guest. That's close to our Cards game day threads. Clearly there is interest in this....and worth it and justifies it even it not a Cardinal game. Good call in allowing it....

RAMS 26 -17 OVER SEAHAWKS
Three losses this early plus RW finger. Wouldn’t want to go to war with Geno for very long.

No matter who you wanted to win, the NFL is getting lucky with these nationally televised games being so close. Its good for them and good for the fans. Now if they would just realize us Cards are the most exciting team to watch....even when we blow them out or only win by the skin of our teeth....lol.

548am...I did not log onto the thread last night...I just wanted to watch and enjoy a game for a change.
I was not impressed by SEA last night. The SEA O had enough weapons until QB Wilson got dinged. He is likely sidelined for a couple weeks, and as we all know since the QB Palmer days at ARI, a gimpy throwing hand affects every grip, handoff, and pass. SEA's offense will struggle even more now, and the team could become a non-factor in the NFC W Div by Halloween Night. SEA's B/U QB Gino Smith briefly poked at LA's backfield, and made a couple sharp passes to WR Metcalf for TDs, but he eventually reverted to his old self and was picked, ending the game. The SEA D has too many holes to list here that can be exploited by a veteran QB. SEA takes on PIT next. PIT is in worse shape than SEA!
LA got really lucky last night. SEA had LA on the ropes early. Then, I thought the Referee crew started calling ticky-tac penalties. (1) Holding. A holding penalty nullified a SEA TD. On that play, LA's Donald left shoulder was pushed, not held. It didn't matter. It was a non-reviewable judgment call. (2) PI. Pass interference was correctly called, and then it suddenly wasn't against LAR. Also, why was there no NY booth review when WR Tyler Lockett got rubbed (mugged) and dropped on his butt by the defender? Maybe there was some Lockett play-acting, but LAR contact was certain. Refs, just be consistent. Refs can always pick a flag later.
I am far less concerned about the Cardinals 2 pending games with the Seahawks, if QB Smith QB's. Smith is half the QB threat that Wilson is. Wilson will return soon. His finger problem may take a while longer.
LA got their mojo back at SEA last night. As I said, LA got lucky on some cheap calls, won the game, and now is just 1/2 game behind the Cardinals. The Cardinals can handle LA when the teams next meet at SFS. That is known.
The NFC West is a hell of a good Division. Go Cardinals!

We tuned out at the half. Stafford was still off and both defenses looked uninspiring. I was always concerned about playing Seattle late this year because they always seem to be in the hunt but for some reason this season I feel more confident about those games after watching last night. Not over confident, just seeing a subtle shifting of the tides and looking forward to us riding the wave.
