That is what K2 has not been able to do so far in his career. I sincerely hope that he does. However...it looks like we are trotting out the same offense...but with different players. A little more under center though, but Nuk is exclusively on the left again, and we still don't do any presnap movement. These defensive coordinators always catch up. Hopefully K2 learns to adapt before he loses his gig. K2 is gaining confidence that his playbook is working. The new players are making a positive difference. I expect more of the same from K2 in the weeks ahead. I'm watching QB Kyler Murray very closely to see if he repeats instinct and decision errors similar to those made in his rookie and sophomore years. The INT last weekend was caused by a high-arc lob pass, making it a 50/50 ball, and finally dropping it into the wrong hands. KM knows better than to take such a high risk of a turnover. That is an area needing immediate QB improvement. I say, NEVER intentionally throw a 50/50 ball, except perhaps in a desperate Hail Mary situation toward D-Hop or AJ Green. Always throw the football to a spot that maximizes the WR's advantages (speed, timing, spacing, size). A 5'7" WR rarely comes down with a 50/50 ball. I expect KM to continue to develop his advantage awareness and eventually stop throwing anymore 50/50 balls.

I really hope the Cards come out and bring it this week. All the positivity from last weeks win is ruined with a loss here. Need to follow it up and be dominant.

Interesting fact about Derrick Henry. In 2020 he only had two games of under 65 yards. In the ensuing games he went for over 200 yards each time. Here's mud in your eye Seattle. Hopefully Henry returns to his 2020 ways and gashes you for HUGE yardage all game long.

The line for the game is stuck at 4. The media still doesn't trust us to handle our business at home against the Vikings based on how we can't seem to string more than a few solid games back to back the last few years. We love to play down to our competition and I have always questioned whether this team has a "killer" instinct and be willing to go for the jugular against a weaker opponent. They just changed the line to us being the favorites when they initially had the Vikings favored before the week 1 games.
KK....please prove them wrong and hang 40+ on the Vikings while keeping them in single digits.

I'm sitting tight on a 20-point differential with ARZ winning 30-10. Like the books, I also don't trust this Cards team to dominate on O and D. They gotta show me first. If the Cards do win big again on Sunday, then I will slurp down some tasty Kool-Aid.

This was posted just before 6pm today. Apparently the rumor about Barr having a groin issue was wrong.
Minnesota Vikings Did Not Participate
LB Anthony Barr (knee) DE Everson Griffen (concussion, new addition to injury report) CB Harrison Hand (hamstring) LB Eric Kendricks (quad, new addition to injury report) Limited Participation
OT Christian Darrisaw (groin) LB Nick Vigil (ankle) Full Participation

Re Barr and a groin issue, I was starting to think the report was BS, then it miraculously disappeared. Maybe some more Vikes injury reports are manufactured. That would be a huge problem back in NY though.

From ESPN at 1am, Friday, Sep 17th, and also picked up by MSN and MIN Media:
Eric Kendricks is dealing with a quad injury that kept him out of Thursday's practice. He is not listed on Wednesday's injury report, so he could play in Week 2. The Vikings are monitoring the situation closely and reportedly plan to take an MRI.
Anthony Barr remains out with a lingering knee injury that sidelined him in Week 1. The injury has been affecting him since Aug. 5, and while Barr returned to practice momentarily last week, he's been out since Sept 10.
Everson Griffin missed Thursday's practice due to a concussion. According to Rotowire, Griffen "wasn't on the injury report Wednesday, so he likely picked up the injury in practice." He will have clear concussion protocol if he is to play Sunday.
These are substantial losses for the Vikings to suffer because they drastically alter the defense's capability. In Week 1, Kendricks led the entire NFL with 15 total tackles. Barr is usually the one that relays defensive play calls from coaches during the game, effectively making him the quarterback of the defense.
As The Viking Age's Adam Patrick wrote, "the whole season already feels like it's unraveling" for Vikings fans.
