Mother Nature Defeats Saints and Cardinals
If you are in its path even if it is days to come GET READY NOW!. This one means business and it will be deadly. I am actually glad the game was called This could have been a real mess and you can see why in the videos below. The Hurricane has not made landfall yet but a Cat 4 or possibly a Cat storm is possible.
Over the years I have been through so many of these AND NO TWO are alike. We even had three go over my county in 6 weeks. Three Frances, Charley and Jeanne were right across the county. Ivan damaged the panhandle more. Irma, the most recent was a killer with a lot of devastation. Forum Members in the path need to be ready. This path will have deadly flooding in the next week. Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee. and Northern Georgia will see heavy rains and flooding. If it goes East, more hardship will come as well. Strange things happen with these hurricanes. The big ones always have their name retired as a sign of respect. like a jersey for a Hall Of Fame team member. It is weird but true Also, It is 16 years to the day Deadly Hurricane Katrina hit Louisiana. Irma hit Florida the exact same date as Donna did even went the same path decades later.

Irma went right over our house. We even walked outside and stood in the eye. The damage caused was surprisingly minimal for our neighborhood but there were other areas flooded for days and without power even longer. At one point it was a Cat 5 but by the time it got to us had just been downgraded to a Cat 3. Still a tremendous amount of wind and rain. We lost power for 18 hours but our generator kept everything up and running so we just sat inside and watched movies, drank wine and waited it out. We caught the storm as it was waning, I can't imagine what would happen if it had been strengthening before it hit.
