I watched the whole thing live this morning. While this doesn't match a moon landing or even the first time man broke the speed of sound, it is a important mile stone. While I could care less if millionaires can now go to space, I do care that advancement in technology keeps moving on.
We are living in interesting times....

I agree with Thomas Cat...we living in interesting times. In the next couple decades, we will witness many more space flights by corporations interested in developing the space business. Space flights will be as common as an Amazon delivery truck driving through the neighborhood this afternoon.
China and Russia have an agreement to develop a manned Earth moon base. The US is not going to be left behind though. A manned Mars base is on the drawing boards and will be built. Two manned space stations are up and running now. One is the International Space Station. The other is China's new space station.
I predict that in a human generation or two, very large interstellar space ships will be constructed in orbit or on another planet to ship smart machines, critical supplies, and a few brave people to far away orbits and habitable planets. Most building materials will be manufactured in space or at another planet. Fuel will be sourced, refined, and manufactured off-earth only.
