first, unless there is a drastic improvement its hard to think McCoy will be back next year...imho sk and wilks will be back.with that in mind heres my plan going forward.
1 trade buc now-he cant play in current scheme and his value will never be higher than now
2 do not trade pp or dj-if cards trade pp it will set back defense years-until another pp is found...dj has been an elite talent:i still feel that its more bad ol/McCoy than bad dj
3i doubt if defillipino(sp?) would come to az-hes got a pretty good gig in minn, but a more innovative oc needs to be brought in
3 ive seen cap numbers for next year ranging from 69 to 99 mil available. free agent needs are:
lg, rg, rt, wr, power rb(shudda kept penny), back up center for offense
run stuffing dt, 2 lbs,corner for defense
kicker and kickoff returner(can cards finally let Brandon Williams go?) for special teams
draft
pic 1 cards should not trade down and should draft the player most likely to be allpro caliber-hard to pass on oliver or bosa-though bosa's injury concerns me especially as his brother has had injury issues
pic 2,3, 4 out of these 3 pics cards need a wr, lb, cb, and an offensive lineman-take the best 3 available
pics 5,6,7 fill the spot not filled with pics 2-4, blocking te and fb
this is awful lot to get done in one year and I have little confidence in sk's decisions...but cards better figure it out while rosen's in his rookie contract.
