It's funny you used the word THEY. My daughter & son-in-law just got back from Cali (Hmm.. maybe how the first name came about). She was telling us that one of the people in the group with them from out there actually referred to such a person as a THEY (The official new reference ) .... |

Wasn't Keim's suspension handed down by the Cardinals? I don't think there is a comparison to be made, unless you are comparing how two separate organizations handle such matters.

I do believe the Cardinals handed Keim's suspension. The league probably would have gotten involved but they may have felt that was enough of a penalty. It is a wait and see with Brownson's situation. The suspension needs to be on par with those of the past coaches and front office personnel. |

I could care less about what a drunk and driving offender looks like -- dude or chick -- only that the penalty is very stiff. First, take away driving privileges. The suspension must justified by the level of offense...anyone hurt? If yes, that is a Permanent Suspension and applies at all 50 States! Second, hit'em with amaximum $$ fine. Hit the wallet very hard. It matters not a wit if the offender has a family, etc. Often, a family member or employer is a drunk's enabler. Knowledge of drinking and driving habits makes a person complicit.
I'm very toughminded about DUI and DWI offenders. If you know my family history, then you know why I think this way today.

Everyone's lucky I didn't post these pics of Callie.    Now on to the penalty does anyone know what it was? I heard "it" avoided jail time by pleading guilty to operating a vehicle under the influence but had 2 other charges dropped in the plea bargain to avoid the jail time. One for speeding and the other for BAC above .17, what was Keim's BAC? Keim's was .193 so "it" penalty better be fairly similar to his. |
