Here is the article on NFL.com. Brutal truth in this article: www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000974674/article/steve-wilks-our-jobs-are-in-jeopardy-without-tnf-winThe question was asked, of course, because the Cardinals rank dead last in the league in yards per game. Watching a Cardinals game has been a test of one's patience and attention span when Arizona has the ball. Well, that was true before Wilks made the change to Josh Rosen. The rookie pairing of Rosen and Christian Kirk has brought some allure to the Cards. But Rosen is also a rookie playing behind the worst pass-blocking line in the NFL, per Pro Football Focus. And the Cardinals aren't just bad at protecting the passer -- they're atrocious. Their PFF grade is a full 10 points behind the next closest unit, the New York Giants, and they're allowing a quarterback pressure on 43.6 percent of pass rush snaps. Nearly every other pass drop results in a pressure for Rosen. That isn't exactly the ideal situation for a rookie quarterback.
-------------------- The lack of pass blocking is EXACTLY why I didnt want Rosen playing this year.

And with our OL falling like dominoes, the future is looking very dark indeed. Mr. Trade/FA Miracle Worker Keim had better pull several huge, heavy rabbits out of his..... hat, and fast.

I think too much is made of this. Wilks was obviously protecting McCoy by trying to spread the blame to everyone. I don't think he was stating that his job was truly in jeopardy if they lose Thursday. Now don't get me wrong, I'm convinced MB will fire Wilks and the rest of the coaches at the end of the season if this pace continues.
When I met with MB, I can assure you that he was under no false pretense that this was a rebuilding year. They had every intent of competing for a playoff spot. MB is as disappointed and surprised by this season as the fans. He is pissed. He is gentleman and isn't going to vent to the media but he is seething inside. You will see change. He won't settle for this.

Mike B seemed happy enough after our single win - even presented the game ball to Wilks. Keim on the other hand was silent, mostly glum and in the background, IIRC.
That means little of course, but Mike sure keeps his feelings internally if you are correct.
Of course when you spoke things were a bit different than today... and I hope he is steaming enough to effect repairs to the organization before too much damage is done.
