Pure bliss! This game was so satisfying after that loss. I’m a all Az fan and it feels so good to see the Suns balling out!!

If you rewatch the 2nd half, the Suns had at least 7-8 shots (including a Chris Paul 3 attempt as the shot clock went off) which went in and out. CP3's shot went 3/4 of the way down and spun out in fact. When I kept seeing that shot after shot, I was starting to think the Suns were snake-bit and between the CP3 protocol, DB mask - no mask struggles and the # of in and out shots .... it was going to be just like all the other "close but no cigar" playoff runs. I am hoping on Monday the backcourt's shooting strokes come back and we see a blowout to close the series.

Dunno if that is good Suns defense or just poor execution. Bottom line is, Suns almost let this game slip away. They need to get that boot on the neck and keep it there.

I think it was the best game I have seen so far. I think it was a defensive game thus the low scoring 84-80 final. Suns were up 50-36 at half and I knew it wasn't going over the century mark for either team at this point but didn't expect 84-80 final. Book finally got aggravated with his mask and just took it off. Not sure if that is a wise move or not as much as he is physical and gets hit in the face a lot. Never broke my nose so couldn't relate to the intensity of it as a matter of fact I have never broken any bone in my life. Quite a feat since i was active in sports until my senior year in high school and served in the Marines for four years.

I could not believe how many opportunities the Clippers had to take the lead, but just couldn’t sink a shot. Everyone is saying it was a defensive game, but there were plenty of open looks missed by both teams. I think it was more a case of two teams worn out.

Suns INCLUDING CP3 need to push the ball at every chance as I believe the Clippers legs are about to go ... they've played every other night for 4-5 weeks. Hopefully CP3 whose shot is still just a little bit off from the layoff .. game 3 (of his return) I think he'll be back to 95-100%. One other thing I would do is (especially at home where it will be loud) have Saric and/or Crowder set a screen in the backcourt and have CP3/CamPayne &/of Booker dribble quickly after taking in bounds pass to run Beverly - Mann - Jackson into the pick. You see when a big man sets a pick in the back court where the defender on the ball can't hear his teammates -- much easier to run those defenders hard into a back pick. I am still fuming over Mann grabbing CamPayne by the neck then slapping him around the shoulders twice and after the whistle blew putting his hands all over CamPayne ... of course it was CamPayne who got the technical. Suns need to make Mann - Beverly in particular have head on a swivel with more back picks.

I told my son it was like watching the basketball game at the fair grounds because there were so many misses. Grateful for the win.

Win Tonight! NBA Finals here we come. Lose tonight and dragged out another game or two. Bucks or Hawks? I am saying Bucks in 6 and Suns close it out tonight! Suns need to be prepared tonight -- I think the Clippers legs are near gone and I believe CP3's legs/stamina is getting better (still trying to figure out him stating he really didn't workout while quarantined) with more practice and games .. so he should be near back to normal. I do believe and am worried that Beverly - Mann - Cousins --- one of them is going to try a Robert Horry and do something outrageous to get a Suns player kicked out of tonight's game and/or to be ineligible to play the next game. BTW: How close is Crowder/Booker/Payne to getting DQ'd for a game because they have too many technical fouls during all of the playoffs ? The Suns need to keep their eye on the prize and realize 2 things: 1) Best revenge is to win the world championship beating the Clippers to represent the Western Conference 2) Be like baseball pitchers with a long memory for retaliation to a teammate being purposely "beaned" ... wait until next year during a regular season game and extract your revenge on a Clippers player who crosses the line.

Then play the Hawks. Hawks are hanging on by a miracle thread like the Clippers. You guys don't wan to take on the Bucks. They are another up-and-coming and strong group of youngsters.
