He said he is very impressed with David Johnson and Josh Rosen also with Boehm. He said Rosen looked very comfortable running with the 1's.

Just put me in the "not surprised at all" camp that Johnson has shown up with a vengeance.

I hope Wilks gives Boehm a decent chance at center. So tired of seeing Shipley being pushed back into the QB lap on running and passing plays. Boehm started his freshman year at the Zoo at I believe LG. Then his soph year he was moved to center. His senior year he made 2nd team all SEC at center, so the kid has something in the tank. He isn't a guard and never was.

We are riding them all the way to the Hardrock Stadium to pick up the Gold in 2020 I can't help but be giddy about JR, not only did we land him I am on record predicting he would be the best from this crop of Qb's. I just feel the moves being made and looking ahead to next years draft and the money that will be available to plug a few holes. I like what the future is looking like for us fans and the guys making these decisions. I can see this team if I am not getting ahead of myself as a future juggernaut. Out of this draft I thought there was no chance of getting JR so that is why I wanted Foles so bad. Now I am still interested to see what foles does going forward. I predict Jacksonville will realize the mistake they made and go after foles eventually.

I really hope Boehm can become an above average center so the future YOUNG OL with Rosen at QB in 2019 will be Hump - Cole - Boehm - Pugh - 2019 FA Agent (this FA pickup needs to be age 28 or less)

Boehm and Cole emerging as starting center and guard would be awesome. If this is the case, I would anticipate that the Cardinals would use a #1 or #2 draft choice next year on a right tackle rather than signing an expensive free agent. Most likely, they will be giving Humphrey a big contract next year, and along with Pugh's big contract, I think that they would want to use a high draft choice at the position as opposed to a free agent to keep the overall OL cost down.

Actually Pugh, barring injury, will be your starting RG for several years to come. Boehm and Cole this year will fight for back up spots at C/G. And Wetzel will push FA Andre Smith for RT or the Swing T backup position.
If Cole can beat out Shipley for center that would be a very good thing. Many here blast Shipley but he has graded out in the top 20 strarting centers the past 2 years iirc. If Cole beats him out then we really would have a Keeper at center for at least 4 yrs (again barring injuries). Boehm has to really step it up this year to make a back up position.
And Will Holden last years 5th rd pick is still in the mix as well. He did get starting experience last year as a rookie.
On paper the Starting line up should be LT DJ Humphrey, LG Iupati, C AQ Shipley, RG Justin Pugh, and RT Andre Smith**.
** Smith might get beat out by John Wetzel.
Back up OL again on paper right now would be Wetzel, Rookie C M Cole, Boehm, Holden, and Rookie T Cunningham. That's 10 O-linemen. And I don't see the Cards keeping 10. 9 most likely. 7th rd pick T Korey Cunningham is most likely PS. Unless his former TE abilities wins him a spot on the 53.
If this group can stay injury free there may be no need for 1st or 2nd rd OL draft pick next year. Though I could see the D-line getting some help in the early draft.
Just my thoughts and opinion.

I hope Cunningham will be a pleasant surprise and make the team - either OL or TE, but prefer the OL. His attitude seems right. I bet if he is on the PS some other team will take him before very long. It is strange to be saying that for such a late pick - maybe it is the old pull for the underdog syndrome at work.
Let us all hope that the new regime on the field will bring out the talent of those who have it, and cut those who can't do the job in a timely manner, not years too late.
