both these are on official website...nauseating to say the least...quoting wilks "we owned it."
after an offensive performance like this belicik, parcells, even ba would have been furious. parcells wudda fired McCoy midway thru 3rd quarter.

Keep in mind the public face can be different from the locker room face. I'm sure other words are used in private settings. Those players that are all in, they and the coaches know it. The others...? The team will look much different in 2019. Count on it.

Hopefully in 2019 we will have a new OC that can utilize the talents we have on the O side of the ball!

Hopefully in 19 we will have a new head coach who actually knows what he is doing. Oh ! And he brings along a O and D coordinator who can actually design an O and D to use those players to the best of their capabilities. This is 3 coaches now who are trying to fit square pegs in round holes.

I understand about the public thing but with belicik, as example there would have been know doubt that he was unhappy...imho wilks was like: I told you we would be better and we are...god bless me.
I have 0 confidence in sk making roster changes FOR THE BETTER.

I'm beginning to think your right with SK. You would think an old O lineman could at least put a good line together. Doesn't seem that way. Missed on Cooper. Huph isn't anything special as a LT. Why on earth did they sigh Smith ? Guy has not been good for 2 years before they signed him. Pugh came from an O line that was as bad if not worse then the Cards. Shouldn't that say stay away ?
His drafts haven't been very good. Missed on to many 1st and 2nd round picks. Those guys are supposed to be starters or at least in the rotation from the get go. Those 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round choices are the life blood of your team. Way to many small school reaches. or guys who have to change positions. You should be fine tuning a player at this level. Not teaching him a new position. To much wasted time at this level to do that.

Wilks said in his pressor that it takes time to change the culture.I wonder what culture exactly he is trying to instill. This is a team with no identity whatsoever.

The other thing to is it isn't like we lost tons of games the last 5 years. We were a .500 team the last 2 seasons with injuries left and right, we have guys that are used to winning. This team needs to do a 180 or else we should be looking for another HC, only thing would be if Bidwill and Keim (he isn't going anywhere at least IMO) would be willing to pull the plug after 1 season. I would think this would be a much more desirable job with Rosen around.

I hope to God that Wilks was 100% a Keim hire, but if it was a Bidwill hire then I can Wilks staying here for 2 more years regardless of what the record looks like.

I didn’t watch the presser but I’ve seen enough of his cliches to get an idea of what his game speech included. When he talks to the media, he kind of makes me roll my eyes. I could only imagine what experienced players are thinking.
That being said, I’m going to give him more time to gain experience on how to deal with the camera quotes. Either SW, SK or MB made a bad decision with the OC so I’d like to see what Wilks could do with another year of HC experience and an OC younger than 45.
