The Second Selection for the 2021 NFL DRAFT
The New York Jets are on the Clock!
I have added Mac Jones name to the list
also a trade up scenario
We need to make a decision when to lock the polls or leave them open for people who can't come on or are out of town etc.

I like Lance, but Fields had better competition and seems more polished. Jets have to be moving on from Darnold. New regime generally means new QBs as well.
I say end of day for this pick, but right now it's looking obvious as well. So we can honestly skip to #3.
Cards pick everyone will want to join so can leave open. Our first real selection will be #4 as the Falcons can trade down, go Pitts, OL, etc.

I voted Zach #2, but the Jets still have to unload Sam.

This reminds me of the Andrew Luck - RGIII "debate". Some talking heads wanted to have the hottest take and would go as far to say they'd pick RGIII if they were the Colts. It was that draft that I learned the TV analysts were there for entertainment, and not anything like what teams hire as GMs and talent evaluators.
Some are saying Zach Wilson has an argument to be made as the number 1 overall pick. Obviously he isn't RGIII, and I hope he has a better career than he did, but the same hot takes are happening here and there.
