Well week 4 finally had David break the 100yd barrier for yds from line of scrimmage. They Finally got him outside! Progress. SF's D can be exploited on it's right side where it is the weakest. So.... My guesstimate for this week is, 18 carries for 89 yds, 4 receptions for 48 yds. He will score 1TD rushing. 137 total yds, this would actually be Huge as it would mean that the play calling is finally starting to get on track and Josh's presence in the pocket id making head way. And Dividend is getting the chances he needs to pay out! Go Cards.

SF has a very good DL and LBs.
Given this offense loves to run right up the middle, I expect a lowly running day. Hope Im wrong.
48 yards rushing 66 yards receiving

So far the guesstimates are running ~100 total yds or +. That tells me those participating are seeing and expecting more improvement in David's usage. Zaz , The scouting report on SF on NFL.com keeping saying that SF's D is weak on the right side. Especially in the secondary with Sherman still questionable and Ward out with a hamstring. The RCB Witherspoon is coming back from a hip injury and is consider the soft side of the secondary. Tartt was back to Full practice as well. Joe Fann one of the Teams's sprts writers is predicting a "double digit win" for the 9'ers. While saying the DL has to step up to pressure Rosen. But he's worried over Chandler Jones and the dinged SF O-line. 3 of SF's O-line are sporting knee injuries but are all expected to play. He did not even acknowledge Golden. There's a smell in the air....something we've not sniffed in awhile....the smell of a Win. And a road win at that. Go Cards.

"Its a trap!" - Admiral Ackbar
for an 0-4 team, theres an awful lots of confidence around here. I also think we should win, but this has all the makings of a trap.
Whether it be Matt Breida going off. Or Mike Mccoys stank offensive play calling. Or maybe even Rosen playing like a rookie QB. Theres alot of reasons this could very well not be as joyous as many expect.

Sooner or later DJ is going to have a great game. He is just too good not to. I'm certainly no fan of McCoy's game plan thus far, but unless he is totally inept, he will eventually figure it out. I kind of think with this new optimism over Rosen, perhaps this week will be the one. Go Cards

David's numbers today; 18 carries for 55 yds and 2 TDs, 2 receptions for 16 yds, Total yards 71. Jeff was closest on the numbers and 70's pegged the TDs. Overall David is still used horribly by McCoy, with out a single moment of doubt about it. In the 3rd qtr I was yelling at the TV and McCoy, "Stop running up the middle on a stacked box!" "you (McCoy) are Wasting David's talents!" "Are you trying to Lose this game!??" I seriously thought McCoy's play selection from the 2nd qtr on was going to cost us the game. But the D with 92 Plays,....let that sink in a minute...92 Plays, Saved the Win! Well at least the Team is off the schnide! Go Cards! (And someone jerk a knot in McCoy's tail! And do it Now!!!)
