Sorry bigangelg but that does not sit well or make it right or better with me either. I really dislike labeling and politically correct jokes at another's expense. But never the less Peace to you as well.

No not yet. Rosen looked way more confident and effective than Sam so there's that. That being said there have been two crucial 3rd down calls that show a OC that has zero guts. I am also not ready because some of our offensive weapons have no been performing the way they should. This could all change however in a few weeks.

Broncos fan here – thought I would provide some thoughts on McCoy.
Most of you probably know the story, but McCoy was a hold-over from the McDaniel’s coaching staff and hired to be OC by Jon Fox. Fox’s first year featured Kyle Orton as the QB. He was okay between the 20’s but a turn over machine in the red-zone. The offense was lacking and the fan base had enough of Kyle Orton, especially with Tebow on the bench.
Tebow and Manning are the reasons that McCoy got his reputation as being a good OC. Tebow had trouble making reads and being an accurate passer. The offense was dummied down to be a run heavy, single read and some RPO. We had a strong defense and the change to TT also changed the turnover problems. The team went on a great run behind the defense and a very effective running game that featured TT. McCoy got a lot of praise, even though he did this against his will. Word is his hand was forced by Fox.
The following year, Manning became the QB. There was a feeling out period, but once Manning got his groove we went on a solid run. That said, many fans felt that McCoy was a cog in the machine. In a lot of ways, Manning was the OC with McCoy calling plays. He often was slow to call the plays in, to the frustration of Manning. Manning re-worked McCoy’s playbook to the plays he wanted to call.
The following year, McCoy was hired by San Diego and many fans were happy about that. Gase came in and fully understood what Manning needed. Together they made a more up-tempo offense and took it to a new level.
In short, the two years that got McCoy a HC job and reputation as a good OC, was when he was forced to simplify, or had an all-time great re-working the playbook to his liking. When McCoy returned, many fans had short memory, but many did not. We were expecting what we ultimately saw – McCoy’s offense is too confusing and just not very good, resulting in a lot of turnovers by his QB.
You have a good new rookie QB, now you need to find a good OC to grow with him. Sad to say, McCoy is not that guy.

I would have fired McCoy after the game was over. (And yes, I would have fired him last week). I would have cut JJ at halftime. I'm not exaggerating. I'm pretty sure Jimmy Johnson cut a guy at halftime once to send a message. JJ would have been the means for my message. (JJ should have been cut after last season. I'm dumbfounded he's on this team.)
McCoy was in "prevent offense" at the end of the game. Fear based play calling. If you want to win, you have to go get it. If he had any huevos he would have thrown for the first on 3rd and 6. We pick up a first and we win the game or tie going into OT. To play for a 3 point lead against Wilson giving him 2:00 left is beyond . I would have been proud of a gutsy call, even if we didn't get it. As it stands, our coaches were afraid. They will never win calling games through fear. I have tatterings of respect left for McCoy as an OC. I'm a huge fan of Wilks, but sheez he's making it hard to support him.
If I had one thing to force upon Wilks from BA, it'd be: No risk it, no biscuit.

I think you have got this one right on the spot. - Someone at the top should you say 'forget about winning or losing', just go out and entertain the crowd and GO for it!!
