There is a strong case for making Bradford inactive for the rest of the season.
1. He makes $15 million no matter what. Sunk cost. But he also has a per game incentive which if inactivated now saves us over $4 million this year. That’s $1 million more than Rosen’s entire salary.
2. Sam will be gone next year, but Glennon will likely be here as Rosen’s backup. Best to move him into that role now, and get him better reps in practice.
3. Sam was brought in to mentor our QBOF and give us a chance to win this year. He failed on giving us a chance. He can still act as a mentor. Tell him he’s making alomost a million a game from here on out to be as outstanding a player/coach mentor to both Rosen and Glennon, and then we wish him the best.
Unless someone wants him in trade, I see no better path.

Glennon. Take $ out of the equation then who gives you the best opportunity to win? We've seen SB out there terrified for 12 quarters with low production. Not enough production to justify him as a better backup than Glennon. Glennon is no champ but at least he's more mobile and can function beyond snapping the ball. SB has been locking on his receivers, not going through his progressions and throwing short. Time to end the experiment. Now bring $ into the equation and he's already been compensated $15M more than he's produced. He should not earn another penny from the Cardinals.

Dang it. I both hate and love how this QB year worked out. Hate that Bradford sucked. Love that Rosen was drafted.
About Glennon, I've seen enough to know the man is dangerous to his team, not the opposition! I doubt that Bradford or Glennon is trade-able, solo or as a package deal.
How about this idea....get rid of both Bradford AND Glennon. Just open the elevator door, push "Down", say goodbye to $16M. Those guys owe us nothing.
Surely there is 1 QB out there on a PS or bagging groceries that is as good as those two QB characters. And don't even suggest looking up that former SF dude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sam's been a useless turd who's stolen money and had no interest in playing. He's lost all credibility.
The Cards want to look like they can save some face by having him "mentor" Rosen. You'll probably see Bradford for at least a game or two doing so.

Just the fact that glennon will be around longer than Bradford should be enough reason. Gotta say, I'm looking forward to tomorrow. I could see Rosen passing for 195 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT. What say yall? ...Or Rosen shows everyone why he is The "Chosen" Rosen and lights up the whole game 300+ yards, 2 TD, O INT...a star is born. Ya 🤞 |

Bradford has shown during his nfl career that he is not a good mentor...ask philly. its a no brainer that glennon be #2 both for $$ reasons and the fact that he will be on team next year. cut sam NOW before he infects rosen. if cards are gonna pay somebody a mil per game to "mentor" rosen why not pay warner? I don't think warner would do it full time but next year thruout otas and training camp...cards should at least give him a call.
